The Path of Totality is the tenth studio album by American nu metal band Korn, released on December 2, 2011 in Europe and December 6, 2011 in the US. The album was produced by various electronic music producers such as Skrillex, Noisia, Excision and various other independent producers. "Get Up!", is one of three tracks produced by Skrillex, and was released as a digital download on May 6, 2011. "Narcissistic Cannibal" was released as the second single on October 18, 2011.

Korn III: Remember Who You Are is the ninth studio album by the American nu metal band Korn, released on July 13, 2010. Unlike Korn's following albums, the album was recorded as a four-piece band and using no Pro Tools or editing. Vocalist Jonathan Davis stated that the album is "simple" due to the absence of the multi-layered effect present in the band's other albums; Davis added that, the album is "about the vibe." The band hired producer Ross Robinson, who had produced Korn's first two albums, while drummer Ray Luzier was appointed a permanent member of the band (Luzier was formerly a "fill-in" drummer). The album features a return to their roots.

City of Heroes is the second studio album by the melodic rock / heavy metal duet project Kiske/Somerville. The Paradigm Shift is the eleventh studio album by American nu metal band Korn. The album was produced by Don Gilmore and was released in the United States on October 8, 2013. It is the first Korn album to feature original guitarist Brian "Head" Welch since 2003's Take a Look in the Mirror.

Saxophonist Kirk Whalum will release Romance Language, a song-for-song remake of the classic 1963 collaboration between John Coltrane and singer Johnny Hartman. The album, which features Kirk’s brother Kevin Whalum on vocals, consists of six romantic standards composed by such greats as Irving Berlin, Sammy Cahn, Billy Strayhorn and Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart. The album will be released by Rendezvous Music on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14.
