Melodrama is the second studio album by New Zealand singer Lorde, released on 16 June 2017 through Republic Records. Writing for the album began as early as December 2013 and continued through "false starts, fruitless detours and stretches of inactivity" as Lorde stepped back from the public spotlight, taking shape after her breakup from her longtime boyfriend James Lowe in 2015. Melodrama is described as a loose concept album that explores the theme of solitude, in the framework of a single house party with the events and moods that entail it.[4] Lorde wrote and produced the album alongside Jack Antonoff, with additional production contributions from Frank Dukes, Malay, Andrew Wyatt, Joel Little and Flume, among others.

Bassist-of-choice for top-tier artists Russell Malone, Johnny O’Neal, Jimmy Greene and others, 26-year-old Luke Sellick is a compelling newcomer on the jazz scene. Raised in the rich and eclectic musical climate of Winnipeg, Canada, Luke’s musical journey lead him to New York where he attended The Juilliard School and was mentored by legendary bassist, Ron Carter. Alchemist is a 9-song exposition featuring some of the most prominent instrumentalists of New York’s next generation. It is an auspicious artistic statement combining themes relating to faith, upbringing, mentorship and an ongoing quest for knowledge.

Finally, after a mere seventeen years, Leatherwolf has finally released their next studio album. The newest offering from the vaunted "triple axe attack" is entitled World Asylum, the first studio album from the band since 1989's Street Ready. The Street Ready lineup of Leatherwolf did release a live album Wide Open in 1999, but there have been a number of lineup changes since that time. Most notably, lead vocalist / guitarist Michael Olivieri has been replaced by Wade Black, who is most recently known for his work with Crimson Glory, Seven Witches, and Leash Law. Eric Halpern (Destiny's End) and Pete Perez (Riot) have replaced Carey Howe and Paul Carman respectively. If you're keeping track, that means drummer Dean Roberts and guitarist Geoff Gayer are the only original members left. While this album is certainly not a carbon copy of the band's previous works, the spirit of the classic Leatherwolf sound is alive and well on World Asylum.

А в октябре 2013 певица сообщила о планах на 2014 год и с начала года начала выпуск синглов. Сингл, в честь которого назван альбом - "Ultraviolence", выпущен 4 июня 2014 г. Одним из главных синглов считается песня "Brooklyn Baby", но по словам певицы видеоклип сниматься не будет. В основной альбом вошло 11 песен, 10 из которых написаны самой певицей совместно с другими авторами. В делюкс версии звучат еще 3 песни.

Большинство песен Le Secret Лара Фабиан написала в сотрудничестве с американским композитором и исполнительницей Janey Clewer, с которой уже ранее работала над песнями Je t'appartiens (альбом Pure) и Bambina (альбом Nue).
Музыка к песне Le Secret, давшей название всему альбому, была написана израильским композитором Гиорой Линенбергом, впервые эта песня была исполнена Ларой на её акустическом концерте в Праге весной 2012 года.
