The Australian electro dance group, Miami Horror, returns for their fourth release, The Shapes. The Shapes is a consistent conceptual release, that focuses on the amalgamation between music and visual art. The sound is percussive and colourful, the visuals playful and bold, while visually, The Shapes is a collection of art that aims to break the mould and put some color back into daily life. Usually known for their diverse sound and eclectic mix of influences, The Shapes gives Miami Horror the freedom to focus on one specific musical direction, existing as a stand alone, conceptual release.

Produced by Marcus and engineered by the late and much-missed Roger Cotton, this record is the latest from the Detroit-born blues-rock vocalist, his first since Stand Or Fall. The 7th album "Better Man' has been completed and scheduled to be released in March of 2017. It will be the first vinyl production since the 'Marcus Album' in the USA.

Like many jazz organists, Mike LeDonne started out on piano, playing with the Art Farmer-Clifford Jordan Quartet, Dizzy Gillespie, Stanley Turrentine and Sonny Rollins. His eleven-year association with Milt Jackson and recording projects with Benny Golson solidified his prominence as a sideman. Now, with 8 Savant CDs as a leader under his belt, LeDonne has certainly earned himself a place in the elite club of truly great organist-bandleaders. Here he appears with his acclaimed Groover Quartet, this time with alto saxophonist Vincent Herring along for a swinging ride through an unhackneyed set of nine numbers all of which receive the unmistakable LeDonne treatment.
