The American Francophile, Natalia M. King, is an artist of great integrity, one who carries the heritage of black music in her soul, its rhythmical groove as well as its strong sense of identity and passionate commitment. After a recording pause, King has decided to break her silence. She returns with an album of blazing new tracks, most of which are self-composed.

‘URSA’ is the seventh and latest album from Italy’s atmospheric death/doom metal purveyors, Novembre, and is set for release on 1st April on Peaceville Records on CD and vinyl.
After a period of inactivity since 2007’s ‘The Blue’, which involved the departure of longstanding member Giuseppe Orlando, Novembre returns with a new set of potent and poignant tracks, effortlessly transitioning between soothing, epic, melancholy and intense, from what is one of the originators of the whole atmospheric death/doom scene. Headed by founding member and writer Carmelo Orlando, & with a reinvigorated musical alliance with Massimiliano Pagliuso, the line-up is completed by Fabio Fraschini (previously bassist on the ‘Materia’ album), and David Folchitto on drums. There is also a special guest appearance from Anders Nyström of the Swedish Doom masters KATATONIA, adding his own unique ‘cold’ touch to the album’s single track ‘Annoluce’.

Natalia Mateo – Polish Singer presenting her “Heart Of Darkness”. The great thing about her act is that she includes several songs in her native Polish language which gives the whole show a sort of a folk/world ambiance and also a bit of an exotic touch even though this is the language of our direct neighbors, but it still sounds charmingly strange. Natalia is presenting music of her upcoming release, the ACT Music album “Heart Of Darkness” (out on March 27th) which, for example, includes the wonderfully melancholic traditional polish song “Trudno”. In fact, some of the songs are more like a seance. And there is the air of sadness and mourning hanging in the room.

Canadian vocal jazz & pop sensation Nikki Yanofsky is back with her sophomore release "Little Secret". Executive Produced by legend Quincy Jones, Little Secret combines pop-song structures with sophisticated harmonies, club-ready beats with punchy big-band horns, and earworm hooks with scat-singing solos. It’s all held together by her powerful delivery, as well as a newfound sass. In the studio with Rob Kleiner and Dan Cinelli, Yanofsky brought together the immediacy of her pop work with the depth of her jazz. Her approach is epitomized by the track “Something New”, which cheekily adapts the hooks from Jones’s “Soul Bossa Nova” and Herbie Hancock’s “Watermelon Man” to a strutting groove, and features the full breadth of Nikki’s vocals, from a soulful roar to a kittenish growl.

По словам Аткинса, музыка на новом альбоме базируется на хороших мелодиях и гитарной работе. Хотя Pretty Maids все еще остается для музыканта приоритетной группой, но процесс создания и записи нового альбома прошел очень гладко и для него это стало глотком свежего воздуха.

Десятый студийный альбом немецкой группы "Ten" вышел 6 марта 2015 года. Смешивая synthpop, electronic и rock, получилось уникальное звучание. Northern Lite остались верны себе, как и их поклонники остались верны проекту.

There are different worlds between pop- and electronic music. Just playing, a jam session, a bit more organic, less synthetic magic. Feeling, hearing and seeing real instruments. Together with The White Noize, Northern Lite have started a classical band project journey. Classic songs like „Enemy“, „In Japan“ and „Begging You“ are encased by saxophone and flute, keys and guitar, drums, contrabass & cello. A whole bunch of fresh ideas for older tracks, which were rewritten bei Robert Fränzel. The recording at the Atomino Studio was a meeting of friends, a joint project with many try outs and a lot of fun. „Wooden Playground“ is the result, which will be released in the end of July. It will be the beginning of an album series from Northern Lite, which will be difficult to all other projects and which will be unplanned from the beginning till the end.

Hailing out of Germany, you definitely get the impression that a lot of their countrymen, such as UDO and ACCEPT, have had a rather large influence on this band; also tinges of HELLOWEEN can be heard. It’s a great mix and a lot of awesome history with those bands and the whole German Metal scene.

Если чувство юморадля Вас является неведомым ощущением, и Вы закоренелый металист, спите в цепях и байком между ног, то никогда не слушайте эту пластинку, ибо такого кощунства мировой хеви-метал ещё не видывал.
«Дедушки Войны» высмеивают все штампы труЪ металла, особо изголяясь над Мановаром (одна из песен - попурри из известных хитов великих сражателей) и Рапсодией. Досталось также Металлике и Айрон Мэйдну - здесь имеют место быть неплохие каверы. Ну и что, собственно? Иной раз пародия значит так, будто ничего своего музыканты придумать не могут. Но здесь ситуация совсем другая - это не жалкая насмешка над великими песнями, а полноценная, ОЧЕНЬ качественная и грамотная работа.
Звук на высоте отменного качества - даже завидно. Вокал напоминает Рапсодию и Mago de Oz, то есть высокий и по истине профессиональный. Остальные музыканты тоже не подкачали, но не в этом дело. А дело в том, что Нановар не только насмехается над труЪ-металическими текстами - они ещё и копируют манеру исполнения всех групп, которые здесь пародируются.
То есть в «Number of the Bitch» мало того, что вокал будет, как у Дикинсона так ещё и гитары будут настроены точно так, как были у Мэйденов, а в «Entra L' Uomo Di Sabbia» (кавер-версия «Enter Sandman») пусть голос не очень похож на Хэтфилда, но манера пения передана с точностью донельзя.
А что же остальные трэки? Это собственные песни, ни с кого не слизанные и очень грамотные с крайне забавными текстами. В общем, приятно слушать, да и весело.
