Приятно удивил новый альбом греков. Ребята решили сделать компромисс между ранними работами и последним, немного коммерческим звуком, как на Sleep of the Angels. Получилось очень интересное сочетание doom-black, очень интересное, но в то же время довольно традиционное для RC. Основа музыки все-же больше похожа на Triachy of the Lost Lovers, очень мощный и плотный звук, но украшенный различными фирменными "фишками". Думаю, альбом понравится, как и любителям прошлых работ, так и последнего альбома. Можно сказать , что на нем собрано все идеи, которые когда-либо использовались группой.

Стиль музыки коллектив сохранил тот же – это авангардный блэк. Но я бы добавил к нему еще и эпитет «романтический». Романтизм проявляется в особенной ауре этой музыки, которая уже больше десятилетия все зовет и зовет слушателя туда, где очень хорошо и откуда не хочется возвращаться…

Начну с того, что Rotting Christ - классики греческой школы блэка, а вовсе никакой не дарк, и тем более, не дум. Описываемый альбом безусловный шедевр как данной группы, так и всего стиля в целом. Главное, что хочется отметить, это безукоризненная стильность, присущая, впрочем, всем их работам. Грозная маршевая атмосфера диска вызывает ощущение присутствия при древней батальной сцене, разворачивающейся под жарким греческим солнцем, на обжигающем песке. Альбом очень мелодичен и красив, национальный колорит чувствуется в каждом звуке. Рекомендую всем.

Альбом 2005 года «Ci saranno giorni migliori» («Наступят лучшие дни») принес ему Специальную Премию Venice Music Awards. В 2008 году Риккардо Фольи выпустил автобиографическую книгу с диском, в который вошли его лучшие песни.

Дабы особо не разглагольствовать, сразу отмечу несомненный плюс данной работы, заключающийся в том, что звучит она более целостно и гармонично, нежели предыдущий (он же первый) блин, который, все-таки, комом не вышел, что, собственно, радует. Исходя из представленного материала и его соответствия потенциалу команды, с точки зрения исполнительского мастерства все сделано отлично. В качественные аранжировки вплетаются все более и более запоминающиеся соло, заставляющие говорить о Россе как о действительно знаковом гитаристе в жанре.

По всем параметрам “Wings of Rage” – это хорошо знакомый Rage XXI века, демонстрирующий прекрасную форму и не менее прекрасное содержание. Не штампы, но традиции – традиции немецкого пауэр-метала: выразительная и узнаваемая мелодика, эмоциональный вокал Вагнера, нередко поддержанный хоровым сопровождением, запоминающиеся припевы и замечательный тёплый звук, выстроенный гитаристом/вокалистом Маркосом Родригесом. Альбом получился в духе двух предыдущих работ – энергичный, преимущественно быстрый и в хорошем смысле предсказуемый пауэр-метал:

Выпустив свой, признанный критиками лучшим на тот момент, альбом "A Dead Poem", Rotting Christ решили продожить линию экспериментов с дарк-металом, и уже через два года выходит достойный последователь "ADP" - альбом "Sleep Of The Angels". При общем схожем звучании двух альбмов, нельзя не заметить несколько изменеий, касающихся последнего: во-первых, имеет место ещё большее сходство с группой Samael (на прошлом диске некоторые места ассоциировались больше с Moonspell времён "Sin/Рecado"), и, как следствие - немного другая мелодика. Signals is the ninth studio album by Canadian rock band Rush, released on September 9, 1982 by Anthem Records. Roll the Bones is the fourteenth studio album by Canadian rock band Rush, released September 3, 1991 on Anthem Records. The band began working on Roll the Bones after a brief creative hiatus following the tour promoting their previous release, Presto.
Roll the Bones was a return to commercial success for the band, reaching No. 3 in the United States, No. 10 in the UK, and No. 11 in Canada. The album won a Juno Award for Best Album Design at the 1992 awards. In August 2001, the album was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America for selling one million copies in the US. It was remastered in 2004 and again in 2013 as part of The Studio Albums 1989–2007 box set. In 2015 it was reissued after being remastered by Sean Magee at Abbey Road Studios following a direct approach by Rush to remaster their entire back catalogue.

Presto is generally held by fans to have marked the beginning of a transition period, moving away from a sound dominated by synthesizers and toward more traditional rock instrumentation and pop songwriting.

Permanent Waves is the seventh studio album by Canadian rock band Rush, released on January 14, 1980, through Anthem Records. After touring to support their previous album, Hemispheres (1978), the band began working on new material for a follow-up album in July 1979. This material showed a shift in the group's sound towards more concise arrangements and radio friendly songs (such as "The Spirit of Radio" and "Freewill"), though their progressive rock blueprint is still evident on "Jacob's Ladder" and the more than nine-minute closer "Natural Science". Bassist/vocalist Geddy Lee also employed a more restrained vocal delivery compared to previous albums. Permanent Waves was recorded in 1979 at Le Studio in Morin-Heights, Quebec with production handled by the group and Terry Brown.

Moving Pictures is the eighth studio album by Canadian progressive rock band Rush, released on February 12, 1981 through Anthem Records. After touring to support their previous album, Permanent Waves (1980), the band started to write and record new material in August 1980 with co-producer Terry Brown. They continued to write songs with a more radio-friendly format, featuring tighter song structures and songs of shorter length compared with their earlier albums.

Counterparts is the fifteenth studio album by Canadian rock band Rush, released October 19, 1993 on Anthem Records. After the band finished touring its previous album Roll the Bones (1991) in mid-1992, the members took a break before starting work on a follow-up.
Counterparts reached No. 2 in the United States, one of the band's two highest-charting albums in the country, and No. 6 in Canada. The first single, "Stick It Out", was No. 1 on the Billboard Album Rock Tracks chart for four weeks. In 1994, the instrumental "Leave That Thing Alone" was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Rock Instrumental Performance. 2112 (pronounced "twenty-one twelve") is the fourth studio album by Canadian rock band Rush, released on 1 April 1976 (or March 1976, according to some sources) by Anthem Records. Rush finished touring for its unsuccessful previous album Caress of Steel, in early 1976. The band was in financial hardship due to the album's disappointing sales, unfavourable critical reception, and a decline in attendance at its shows. The band's international label, Mercury Records, considered dropping Rush but granted the band one more album following negotiations with manager Ray Danniels. Though the label demanded more commercial material, the band decided to continue developing its progressive rock sound. 2112 was recorded in February 1976 in Toronto with regular producer Terry Brown. Its centerpiece is a 20-minute title track, a futuristic science-fiction song that takes up the entire first side of the album. There are five individual tracks on side two.

"Wish I Could Fly" is a song by Swedish pop music duo Roxette, released on 1 February 1999 as the lead single from their sixth studio album, Have a Nice Day (1999). An orchestral pop ballad containing elements of electronica, the song was written as an experiment by Per Gessle, who was attempting to establish if a prominently-placed drum loop would fit alongside a large orchestra. The track became a sizable hit for the duo, peaking inside the top twenty of Billboard's European Hot 100 Singles, and was the most-played song on European radio of 1999. It would also become their final top 40 hit on the UK Singles Chart.
