Human is a studio album released by Rod Stewart on 12 March 2001 (see 2001 in music). It was Stewart's nineteenth studio album and first, and only release, on Atlantic Records (Atlantic 7567-83411-2), a sister label to his previous label Warner Bros. Records.
It produced the singles "Run Back Into Your Arms", "I Can't Deny It", and "Don't Come Around Here". "I Can't Deny It" became a moderate hit and the album was certified gold by the British Phonographic Industry.

On Southern Comfort, Detroit native Regina Carter continues the investigation of her family history, which stems from West Africa, Finland, Eastern Europe and the U.S. Carter began this journey on her 2012 album Reverse Thread which was a re-imagined celebration of traditional African music. Through a blend of folk songs and spirituals, she interprets her roots through a modern lens on Southern Comfort. Says Carter, “I wanted to hear the music that my ancestors heard. Southern Comfort is a musical journey tracing my father s roots in the American South.”

Robert Wyatt started out as the drummer and singer for Soft Machine, who shared a residency at Middle Earth with Pink Floyd and toured America with Jimi Hendrix. He brought a Bohemian and jazz outlook to the 60s rock scene, having honed his drumming skills in a shed at the end of Robert Graves' garden in Mallorca. His life took an abrupt turn after he fell from a fourth-floor window at a party and was paralysed from the waist down.

Sneakin' Sally Through the Alley is Robert Palmer's debut solo album, released in 1974. It was his first effort after three album releases co-fronting the band Vinegar Joe.
Palmer is backed by The Meters and Lowell George of Little Feat. Multiple reviewers have commented that Palmer sang confidently on this album, despite being backed by more accomplished musicians such as Lowell George, Art Neville and New Orleans singer-songwriter Allen Toussaint.

Do It Again is an extended play (EP) by Norwegian electronic music duo Röyksopp and Swedish recording artist Robyn, released on 23 May 2014 by Dog Triumph. The extended play coincides with Röyksopp and Robyn's joint tour, the Röyksopp & Robyn Do It Again Tour 2014, featuring shows in Europe and North America.

Rod Stewart followed the faux-disco trash of Blondes Have More Fun with Foolish Behaviour, which sanded out most of the character of the previous album. The result was a bland but professional -- even at their worst, Rod and his band are always professionals -- collection, mainly comprised of dance-oriented, lightly synthesized pop/rock. The passionless "Passion" was the hit, but the only worthwhile song was the gorgeous "Oh God, I Wish I Was Home Tonight," which has the clever wit and self-depreciating melancholy of his finest work.

In its simplest terms, Blondes Have More Fun is Rod Stewart's disco album, filled with pulsating rhythms and slick, synthesized textures. It's also his trashiest, most disposable album, filled with cheap come-ons and bad double entendres. Of course, that makes Blondes Have More Fun one of his most enjoyable records, even if all the pleasures are guilty.

Rod Stewart's sixth album was called Atlantic Crossing because the singer was literally crossing the Atlantic, making America his new home for reasons of the heart (he was fully enamored with actress Britt Ekland at the time) and the wallet (he was eager to escape Britain's restrictive tax rates).

"The Inevitable End" is Norwegian duo Röyksopp's fifth and supposedly final album, which is such a shame. Fittingly perhaps, the sound is brooding and melancholic with ambient washes, despite the odd raised tempo here and there on songs such as a reworking of "Monument" (which featured in a different version on their "Do It Again" EP with Robyn, who appears again on the moody ballad "Rong"), opening cut the vocoder-driven Daft Punk-esque "Skulls", the jittery "Save Me" featuring Susanne Sundfør, or "I Had This Thing" featuring Jamie Irrepressible.

The Inevitable End is the fifth and final studio album by Norwegian electronic music duo Röyksopp. On November 4, 2014 the album was released for streaming through various platforms, on Spotify in Scandinavia and part of Europe, and on iTunes in the US and Australia, among several other streaming services. The album is set for release on CD, vinyl and download on November 10, 2014. Svein Berge says the album will have "a dark energy", while Robyn describes the album: "It's sad, but it's not cold. It's very warm."

In 2001 Roger Taylor was inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame with Queen, and is acknowledged as one of the most influential drummers in popular music. In addition to founding and wielding the sticks with one of the world’s best-selling groups, as well as collaborating with Robert Plant, Genesis, Eric Clapton, Elton John, Foo Fighters, and Gary Numan among others, Roger Taylor has also had a brilliant and long career as a songwriter and solo artist.
