Paris is a live album by progressive rock band Supertramp, released in 1980 (see 1980 in music). It was recorded on Supertramp's Breakfast in America tour in Paris, France, with most of the tracks taken from a 29 November 1979 show at the Pavillon de Paris, a venue which was once a slaughterhouse. The album was originally going to be called Roadworks. Paris reached number 8 on the Billboard 200 in late 1980 and went Gold immediately, while the live version of "Dreamer" hit the US Top 20.

Even in the Quietest Moments… is the fifth album by progressive rock band Supertramp, released in April 1977.
The album was recorded mainly at Caribou Ranch Studios in Colorado with overdubs, vocals and mixing completed at The Record Plant in Los Angeles and was Supertramp's first album to use engineer Peter Henderson, who would work with the band for their next three albums as well.

Texas Flood is the debut album of American blues rock band Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble, released on June 13, 1983 by Epic Records. The album was named after a cover featured on the album "Texas Flood", recorded by blues singer Larry Davis in 1958. Produced by the band and recording engineer Richard Mullen, it was recorded in only three days at Jackson Browne's personal recording studio in Los Angeles.

Soul to Soul is the third studio album by American blues rock band Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble released on September 30, 1985 by Epic Records. Recording sessions took place between March and May 1985 at the Dallas Sound Lab in Dallas, Texas. Vaughan wrote four of Soul to Soul's ten tracks; two songs were released as singles. The album went to #34 on the Billboard 200 chart[3] and the music video for "Change It" received regular rotation on MTV. In 1999, a reissue of the album was released, which includes an audio interview segment and two studio outtakes.

Even though it's the official greatest-hits compilation of the Scorpions' '80s releases, The Best of Rockers 'n' Ballads is actually missing some of their best rockers and ballads. While it contains such hits as "Rock You Like a Hurricane," "Blackout," and "The Zoo," the 12 songs listed simply don't give the listener a good impression of what the Scorpions are all about. In fact, some of the band's best songs, such as "Dynamite" and "Another Piece of Meat," weren't ever hits in the first place and are therefore absent. Due to its lack of some of the Scorpions' most entertaining classics, The Best of Rockers 'n' Ballads fails to be a good introduction to the band.
