The enigmatic Slow Magic is self-described as "music made by your imaginary friend." The first tracks to leak from this new album (the follow-up to his beguiling debut Triangle) were greeted with dozens of blog posts and thousand of hearts from Hype Machine users. Stereofox has posted Slow Magic multiple times, calling the tracks, "moody and full of super-intense synth sounds and catchy percussion... dreamy yet as refreshing as ever, this is your smooth soundtrack to the last days of summer."

Although the 2 CD set Deadly Sting: The Mercury Years starts with the Scorpions' fifth studio album Lovedrive, it effectively traces and relives most of the German outfit's development from buzz band to rock stars. Beginning with their Billboard debut Lovedrive, which featured "Loving You Sunday Morning" and "Holiday" (contained here), the first disc follows the band through the platinum success of Blackout and the mind-blowing popularity of Love at First Sting.

Lonesome Crow is the debut album by the German hard rock band Scorpions. It was recorded soon after Scorpions became a fully professional band under the production of Conny Plank, apparently in only six or seven days, and released February 1972 in West Germany as the soundtrack to the German anti-drug movie Das Kalte Paradies, and May 1973 in the United States.
