Two-time Grammy nominee Tommy Emmanuel is one of Australia's most respected musicians and in 2015 Tommy returns with his brand new studio album "It's Never Too Late". The anticipated album is the first regular studio album featuring Emmanuel completely solo since 2000. The album is 14 tracks of all original music with no vocals or guests. The Zombies EP Collection, from the See for Miles label, contains the British Invasion bands biggest hits from 1964 through 1966, including "Tell Her No," "Time of the Season," and, in both mono and stereo, "She's Not There." While this collection does an effective job chronicling the hits, Big Beat's 2000 release The Singles Collection: A's & B's, 1964-1969 is superior as it goes further into their catalog and contains "Care of Cell 44," "Beechwood Park," "Friends of Mine," and "Maybe After He's Gone" taken from their 1968 masterpiece Odessey and Oracle.

This isn’t the first time the Zombies have looped themselves back into the conversation on contemporary music. It’s not even the first time this decade. The English rock band’s new album, Still Got That Hunger, follows 2011’s Breathe Out, Breathe In, a quietly nostalgic piece that marked the band’s fourth record since originally breaking up in the late ‘60s. Still Got That Hunger is their fourth effort since the now-classic Odyssey and Oracle, the album that spawned the US smash hit “Time of the Season” seemingly by accident.

On June 17, Toronto musician Tash Lorayne celebrated the release of her debut LP "Light that Lives" at Lula Lounge. Getting to this moment in her life was a journey, to say the least, having spent the past decade as a backup vocalist. he singer describes the past decade, backing such artists as Divine Brown and Ammoye, as a sort of training to be comfortable in a position where she is the centre of attention. That ease and commandeering of the stage more than showed through during her performance at Lula Lounge, as she grooved and swayed to her music, eating up every minute of the well-deserved spotlight.
