Последний альбом Waltari Covers All! был выпущен в 2011 году. Он содержит лишь кавер-версии песен других исполнителей.

Три года затишья из стана WHITE SKULL. Выходит новый альбом 'Under This Flag’. Медленно тлеющее вступление обрывается триумфальным маршем ударных, колкие гитары заводят традиционный рифф, аккомпанируя…оригинальной певице коллектива. Стартовая 'Hunted Down’ в другой подоплеке могла бы показаться немного банальной, за счет довольно однообразных гитарных партий и клишированного распевного припева. Но после десятилетнего перерыва прорезающий хрипотцой вокал «Сестры» даже столь односложную композицию превращает в хороший открывающий номер. Она вернулась, голос её не растерял ни индивидуальности, ни полноты, а вернувшись к своим исконным металлическим корням, группа подготовила более чем благоприятную почву для реюньона.

Рад, что группа не растеряла задора. Очень крепкий альбом, который можно смело ставить в один ряд с "Tales From The North" и "Public Glory, Secret Agony". Со своими особенностями, со своим звуком.Но сейчас это именно тот White Skull, которого все ждали после выхода "Public Glory..."

Vital Signs is the second album by the Christian rock band White Heart and the band's first with vocalist Scott Douglas.

Неплохой старт для талантливой начинающей экспериментальной группы. Сразу виден большой потенциал, который в будущем обязательно должен раскрыться (что и просходит, собственно).Насчет ценности в истории музыки говорить не буду, но альбом достаточно приятен на слух. Стилистически композиции имеют в своем составе фанк, рэп, панк, дет, грайнд, поп, рок-н-ролл и некоторые другие стили и направления.

White Heart formed in 1982 with two of its members coming from Bill Gaither's group. The first two albums were produced by Smiley and Huff, the two friends who formed the group and were listening to groups like Toto, Boz Scaggs, Journey, and Steely Dan at the time.The original lineup consisted of Billy Smiley (guitar, keyboards, and occasional lead vocals), Mark Gersmehl (keyboards and occasional lead vocals), Steve Green (lead vocals), Gary Lunn (bass), and brothers Dann and David Huff (guitars/vocals & drums respectively).

Tales of Wonder is the eighth album by the Christian rock band White Heart and the band's first with Jon Knox as drummer. Chris McHugh played all drum tracks (except "Vendetta") although Knox was the official drummer for tour. Ricke Florian – lead vocals, background vocals. Mark Gersmehl – keyboards, lead vocals, background vocals, recorder. Billy Smiley – Rickenbacker 12-string, hi-string, and 12-string acoustic guitars, background vocals. Brian Wooten – lead guitar, rhythm guitar, gut string guitar.

White Heart официально не "ушел на покой". Смайли начал свой собственный лейбл. Gersmehl продолжает писать музыку, выпустил сольный альбом. Флориан работает агентом по недвижимости во Франклине, а также продолжает петь для записи в различных проектах.

Остальные бессменные музыканты White Heart Smiley, Gersmehl и Florian в 1997 году с приглашёнными музыкантами записали последний альбом, который назвали «Redemption». White Heart подписывают новый контракт с студией «Star Song Records» и принимают в штат взамен ушедшим музыкантам гитариста Brian Wooten, басиста Anthony Sallee и барабанщика Mark Nemer. В этом составе был записан один из лучших альбомов «Powerhouse» (1990). Вскоре группу покинул Mark Nemer. Для записи следующего альбома был приглашен сессионный музыкант Cris McHugh.

I freely admit that Worriers was one of those bands I should have known much more about prior to attending the Fest last year. Missing out on their appearance in Gainesville is quickly becoming my biggest regret. Luckily, it looks like I’ll be able to rectify that in short order as they are embarking on a tour with Brian Fallon in support of this, their latest album, You or Someone You Know.

In 1988, at the pinnacle of the “Hollywood Hair Metal” craze, WILDSIDE, then called YOUNG GUNNS, was formed by guitarist Benny Rhynedance and singer Drew Hannah. Both were 1986 hair metal transplants from the pre-grunge Seattle music scene, which in 1986, did not exist yet.
By 1988 in Los Angeles, after slugging it out for two years in the LA club scene as glam rockers Rogue and enduring the Hollywood “Pay to Play” club promoter rip-off, Benny and Drew disbanded their original Seattle band. They then formed THE BOYZ, which became YOUNG GUNNS, and recruited second guitarist Brent Woods from the Sunset Strip band ALRISHA, and bassist Marc Simon from local heroes ST. VALENTINE. The lineup was soon completed with the addition of drummer Johnny Dean, but he soon left the band.
The guys searched for a permanent drummer and dominated the Sunset Strip and the Whisky-A-Go-Go on the weekly Monday night “No Bozo Jam” shows. After a year and a half of “false starts and flakes,” they found ex-NRG and KANE ROBERTS drummer Jimmy D. from San Bernardino, CA to finally complete the classic lineup.
This is when the hard work truly began. With a solid lineup, the band began an all-out assault on Hollywood. Sold out shows followed at the Roxy, Whisky, Troubadour, Gazzarri’s, and X-Poseur 54. Front page covers on all of the LA rock press magazines arose, and record labels began to take notice.
Diligently writing and rehearsing in their shared Hollywood gigs, the boys played endlessly throughout 1988-1989. When they weren’t ripping through impassioned sets, they were putting up flyers on every telephone pole in town. Their self-determination turned self-promotion into an art form and soon the band’s name was on everyone’s lips.
However, the band needed to eventually change their name. Originally known as YOUNG GUNNS between ’88 to ‘90, the producers of a western film using a similar title (released incidentally after the band was already well on its way) from Lionsgate Studios and Artisan Entertainment issued a series of cease and desist warnings and wanted $350,000 for the rights to the name.
After another late night Sunset Strip gig, while the guys were afterwards at the Rainbow bar, the name WILDSIDE was thrown around and seemed to fit their lifestyle perfectly, while being inspired by the Lou Reed song of the same name.
With their new name, a new phase of the band history was about to begin. But, that’s another story…

The Purple Album is the twelfth studio album by British hard rock band Whitesnake. It contains remakes of songs from Deep Purple band lineups Mark III and Mark IV, when Whitesnake lead singer David Coverdale was a member of that band. It was released on 29 April in Japan, 15 May in Europe, 18 May in the UK and 19 May 2015 in the US through Frontiers Records. The album debuted at number 87 on the Billboard 200 with first week sales of around 6,900 units in its first week of release. It is also the first album since the band's 1989 studio album, Slip of the Tongue, to feature 'classic' Whitesnake drummer Tommy Aldridge.

Auf dem mit Pete Wingfield gemeinsam produzierten Album mischte Westernhagen deutschen Rhythm and Blues mit gelegentlichen Einflüssen der Rolling Stones (Tanz mit dem Teufel). Einige Funk-Zitate, zum Beispiel in Hey Honey ergänzen die Songs.[2] Das Album erreichte Platz 1 der deutschen Charts. Vor allem die Singleauskopplung Es geht mir gut wurde zum Erfolg im deutschsprachigen Raum. Auch die zugehörige Tournee Affentour, auf der die DVD Keine:Zeit – Affentour 1995 aufgenommen wurde, war sehr erfolgreich.
