Как следует из названия, «Book of Shadows II» – это продолжение альбома «Book of Shadows» (1996), который целиком и полностью состоит из акустических песен. Далеко не всем поклонникам тяжелого металла в общем и Black Label Socity в частности альбом придётся по душе: диск длится чуть больше часа, и периодически ощущается нехватка тяжести и плотности звука. Однако эта музыка, безусловно, обладает своим обаянием и шармом. На протяжении всего альбома Уайлд демонстрирует, что он не только виртуозный гитарист, а в первую очередь талантливый композитор, автор песен и вокалист. In the 1970s, Roth and Ule W. Ritgen formed Black Angel in Hanover, and played together for a few years while attending university. After the band, which played music influenced by Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, etc., broke up in 1977, Ritgen played bass in Zeno's brother Uli Jon Roth's band Electric Sun, appearing on three of their albums. By 1980, Zeno Roth and Ule Ritgen were again working together, now playing in a more melodic style. They were joined by Michael Flexig on vocals, and the band was named Zeno.

Isabelle Geffroy (born 1 May 1980 in Tours, France), better known by the nickname Zaz, is a French singer-songwriter who mixes jazzy styles, French variety, soul and acoustic. She is famous for her hit "Je veux", from her first album, Zaz, released on 10 May 2010.

This is Rock music as it could hardly be more pure and multi-faceted. The new album Sonic Child by ZODIAC could neither assign to a specific era of music history nor a narrow-minded specified style. The songs on Sonic Child are traditional and versatile, have strong riffs and driving drums, are affected by a well-tempered influence of the blues, with a carefully selected degree of hardness at any time. Frontman Nick van Delft is the focus of the enjoyable hustle and bustle, telling of little adventures and grand gestures. Some of it seems to be located in the desert of Arizona ('Penny And The Dead Horse `), whereas others seems to be in the cotton fields on the banks of the Mississippi River (' Rock Bottom Blues`). ZODIAC showcases the best statement on their artistic visions at the very end: 'Just Music'. Yes, that's the point here & nothing else!

Название альбома - буквально это термин, применяемый в частности в полиграфии, книгоиздательстве, археологии, и означающий лист, на обеих сторонах которого имеется текст, где recto лицевая сторона, а verso - оборотная. Во французском языке имеется фразеологизм Le mode recto verso, который может быть переведён на русский язык, как Две стороны одной медали; очевидно что название альбома связано с этой идиомой.

Recto Verso is the second studio album by French singer Zaz, released on 10 May 2013 under the label Play On. The album was Zaz's first album in three years, after her eponymous début, released in 2010. It débuted on the French Album Chart at #2 and to date has spawned thre singles, "On ira", "Si" and "Gamine". Musically, it is largely in a similar style to Zaz's début album. The title refers to the two sides of Zaz's personality, which she wished to express in the music of the album.
