Purpendicular is the fifteenth studio album by the English rock band, Deep Purple. Released in 1996, it is their first album with guitarist from Dixie Dregs Steve Morse, who replaced Ritchie Blackmore; Blackmore, meanwhile, resurrected Rainbow and released the album Stranger in Us All.

Now What?! is the 19th studio album by English rock band Deep Purple. It was released on 26 April 2013 and produced by Bob Ezrin. A dedicated official web site was also created by the band to post updates about the album. It is the band's first studio album in over seven years; Deep Purple's previous studio album, Rapture of the Deep, was released in late 2005.

It was officially released on 13 August 2012 by PIAS Recordings, 16 years after the group's last album, Spiritchaser. It is also the band's first album since it left 4AD Records. "Anastasis" is the Greek word for "resurrection".

Through the Noose of Existance was written and recorded under the Masters hand in December 2006. Well aware of the spelling mistake in the title the band decided to stick by the misspelling as it "somewhat is fitting for the disconnected nature of this album"

Daniel Guichard was born in 1948, raised in Paris in the '50s, and has actually dragged out the image of an old-fashioned Parisian boy, including every cliché about it, starting with a strong accent. His gentle personality was quite well reflected in his songs, most of which are about tenderness, loss, love, and nostalgia. He started singing in Montmartre cabarets in the '60s, covering Bruant, Edith Piaf, and other French legends, and got signed pretty quickly by Barclay, for which he had been working as a packer.
