Kaleidoscope is the fourth studio album by Dutch DJ and record producer Tiësto, released on 6 October 2009 by Musical Freedom, Tiësto's new label in association with PIAS Recordings. The album contains collaborations with Nelly Furtado, Emily Haines of Metric, Tegan and Sara, Jónsi of Sigur Rós, Kele Okereke of Bloc Party, and Calvin Harris among others.

2008 sees the release (on Hybrid SACD and conventional CD) of the complete MSFL remasters of the complete Dead Can Dance catalogue of eight albums and one EP. This box set (a limited edition of 1500) gathers together those individual releases on SACD and pride of ownership is high. To be specific, each disc comes in: a protective, fine plastic sleeve inside a printed paper inner sleeve; inside a stiff card replica of the original LP sleeve; inside a (somewhat) re-sealable transparent plastic wrapping; housed in a black velvet box embossed with the DCD logo; housed in a printed white card outer box. If you're primarily buying this as an "investment" then you're going to have to keep all this stuff; if not, I guess that the white outer box and re-sealable plastic sleeves will be unnecessary, but it's nice to see that they've gone the extra mile when putting this together. There are also one or two thin CD booklets tucked into the replica sleeve for each SACD: they contain lyrics, credits and a reproduction of the label that appeared in the centre of the original vinyl record. Where an album was released on double vinyl, both inner sleeves are reproduced even though only one of them holds a disc.

There Is a Party is the second studio album released by the Swiss singer-songwriter DJ BoBo. It was released on 21 October 1994 through the Fresh Music, Metrovynil as well as EAMS Lesser record labels on compact disc, 12-inch gramophone record and music cassette formats. Dr. Hook & the Medicine Show (shortened to Dr. Hook in 1975) was an American rock band, formed in Union City, New Jersey. They enjoyed considerable commercial success in the 1970s with hit singles including "Sylvia's Mother", "The Cover of 'Rolling Stone'" (both 1972), "Only Sixteen" (1975), "A Little Bit More" (1976), "Sharing the Night Together" (1978), "When You're in Love with a Beautiful Woman" (1979), "Better Love Next Time" (1979), and "Sexy Eyes" (1980). In addition to their own material, Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show performed songs written by the poet Shel Silverstein.

No Angel is the debut studio album by English singer-songwriter Dido. Originally released on 1 June 1999 in the United States, the album found a mass audience when it was released worldwide in February 2001. By 2003, the album has sold more than 15 million copies worldwide, and was the second best-selling album of the 2000s in the UK, behind James Blunt's Back to Bedlam.

The jazz content on this CD from singer Diane Schuur is rather slight, but this is actually one of her finest recordings. Schuur (who has a lovely voice) sings straightforward versions of ten veteran ballads while accompanied by one of two string orchestras. Tom Scott on reeds and trumpeter Jack Sheldon have short spots, but this is very much Schuur's show. She really excels in the restrained setting, making this a superior middle-of-the-road pop recording.
