Dark Fury est formé en 1997 à Wrocław. Le groupe publie sa première démo, inrirulée Turning Into Ashes, en 1998. L'année suivante, en 2000, le groupe publie un split avec Thor's Hammer. En 2004, Dark Fury publie une démo intitulée Carnivore, puis enfin leur premier album studio, intitulé Vae Victis!, au label Elegy Records, la même année. En 2005, Dark Fury publie son deuxième album, Slavonic Thunder. En 2007 sort l'album Final Solution, suivi en 2008 par Fortress of Eagles, et par The Price of Treason en 2009.

American symphonic black metal band that was formed in 2001 as a side project by Eric Peterson & Steve Di Giorgio of Testament, and Steve Smyth of Nevermore. The band is a result of Eric Peterson's interest in darker music, and not being able to do that with Testament he formed Dragonlord. The band combines elements of black metal with some thrash guitar influences. Lyrical themes vary, either about the rage of a dragon, death, war, lost love, Satanic or otherwise anti-religious themes, or combinations.

Restless Heart is the ninth studio album by English hard rock band Whitesnake, released by EMI on 26 March 1997 in Japan and 26 May in Europe. It was produced by the band's vocalist David Coverdale and originally conceived as a solo album. However, EMI pressured him into releasing the record under the moniker "David Coverdale & Whitesnake". Musically Restless Heart features a more subdued sound compared to Whitesnake's previous two albums. It is also the only full-length Whitesnake studio album to feature guitarist Adrian Vandenberg throughout, despite having been a member of the group since 1987.

Luck and Strange is the fifth studio album by the English guitarist and songwriter David Gilmour, released on 6 September 2024 by Sony Music. It was produced by Gilmour and Charlie Andrew.

Gilmour's wife, novelist Polly Samson, wrote most of the lyrics, which she said addressed mortality and aging. Their children contributed additional vocals, lyrics and instrumentation. The song "Luck and Strange" features keyboards recorded in 2007 by the Pink Floyd keyboardist, Richard Wright, who died in 2008. The album also features a cover of the 1999 song "Between Two Points", originally by the British band the Montgolfier Brothers.
