On the Third Day is the third studio album by Electric Light Orchestra (ELO), and the first to be recorded without input from Roy Wood. It was released in the United States in November 1973 by United Artists Records, and in the United Kingdom on 14 December 1973 by Warner Bros. Records. From this album on, the word The was dropped from the band's name (other than The Night the Light Went On in Long Beach which was one of their live albums). The album was reissued on 12 September 2006.

Time is a work of synth-pop that combines elements from 1950s music, new wave, reggae, rockabilly, the Beatles, Phil Spector and the Shadows. The album signalled a departure from the band's sound by emphasising electronics over its usual orchestra. It is also the band's second concept album, the first being Eldorado in 1974. The music video created for its lead single, "Hold On Tight", was the most expensive ever made to that point, with a budget of approximately £40,000. Four more singles followed the album's release: "Twilight", "Ticket to the Moon" (backed with "Here Is the News"), "Rain Is Falling" and "The Way Life's Meant to Be".

Excellent collection of most of ELO's prime output. The price can't be beat and, unlike many of these Original Album collections, all of the discs are the remastered versions with all of the extra tracks. Even though the sleeves themselves are replicas of the original LP sleeves with only the LP tracks listed, the outer case lists the extra tracks.Just add Out of the Blue and you have the peak ELO albums. .

In 2000, Jeff Lynne found a new impetus to work on the music of his old band and returned to the recording studio to work on an ELO project for the first time in some 15 years just prior to the comeback album Zoom in 2001. This work resulted in a digitally remastered compilation released in late 2000. Unlike its predecessors, this project, Flashback, was personally approved and endorsed by Lynne. The set includes songs featured from all 11 studio albums up to that point, including an edit of "Great Balls of Fire" from their live album The Night the Light Went On in Long Beach, plus some new recordings amongst the band's extensive back catalog, most notably a reworking of Lynne's only UK number one hit "Xanadu". The album includes liner notes by David Wild with quotes on each song from Lynne and a booklet inside.

Эти итальянские макаронники нарезают мелодичный дэт/трэш сплав финской и шведской школ. Но то, что представлено здесь – не только наработки известных мелодистов (Children of Bodom, In Flames, Arch Enemy и др.), но здесь можно услышать и совершенно иные композиции в стиле дарк-металл, напоминающие Moonspell, и брутального дэта. А инструментальным композициями позавидуют готы. И этот подход очень интересен со стороны слушателя. Не надоедает, по крайней мере. Сыграно все мелодично, честно, быстро и тяжело, а эмоциональные тексты о терроризме, мести и прочих нынешних проблемах мира не заставят усомниться в том, что эти ребята играют музыку ради музыки, а не ради денег.

В апреле 2001 года Yantit и Allen отправились в студию звукозаписи Studio E (Маркус Сток). Дебютом группы Ewigheim стал альбом "Mord Nicht Ohne Grund" ("Убийство без мотива"), выпущенный в 2002 году. Для записи альбома были приглашены Тереза Тренкс (скрипачка из Eisregen), которая сыграла партии на скрипке, и немецкий певец, Михаэль Рот (вокалист Eisregen), исполнивший вокал на одноимённой песне с альбома. Альбом был неожиданно удачным, после чего группа отправилась колесить по стране с концертами.

Итальянская мелодик-дэт-металлическая группа Embryo опубликовала видеоклип на песню «No God Slave», которая будет включена в новый альбом, выходящий 15 февраля на лейбле Rising Records.Диск был записан с февраля по март 2009 года в студии Fear (DGM, Gory Blister, EMPYRIOS, THE MODERN AGE SLAVERY). Диск был записан и сведён Simone'ом Mularoni, а мастеринг альбома провёл Gabriele Ravaglia.

А вот группу "Ледокол" знают единицы. Но чем сильнее прогрессирует творческая импотенция у лидеров мирового "дэнс-метала", тем больше шансов появляется у их верных поклонников. И самый главный плюс Eisbrecher - в том, что они реально могут предложить материал "в духе Rammstein", а не бездумный плагиат. Этот записанный почти на коленке альбом способен не удивить, но впечатлить.
