“Pictures at an Exhibition” – это просто филигранная концертная работа. Превосходная сыгранность, отличный звук и ощущение сопричастности к музыкальной вакханалии! Эмерсон здесь просто в ударе, впрочем, как и остальные музыканты этого трио. Классика облачена в футуристические музыкальные формы и, вследствие этого, существенно помолодела.Из наиболее удачных вещей отметил бы “The Gnome”, “The Hut of Baba Yaga”, акустическую балладу “The Sage” и торжественную “The Great Gates of Kiev”, где голос Лэйка просто неподражаем. ELP очень тонко уловили наиболее яркие черты музыки русского классика (таинственность, некую помпезность) и даже усилили их. Самая экспериментальная вещь альбома - “The Old Castle”, с визжащим звуком а-ля сдувающийся шарик, тут ребята немного переборщили.

Изумрудный дождь является одной из ведущих канадских мелодичных рок-групп . Группа состоит из Мюррей Daigle (вокал), Майк Dmitrovic (гитара), Шон Грегори (бас) и Лорн Бойл (ударные). Мюррей, Майк и Шон начали музыкальные отношения в 1993 году, когда образовалась хард-рок группа PAIN.

Отличный акустический альбом Empyrium. В способностях Андраса не приходиться сомневаться, особенно после превосходных первых 2х альбомов. Основной темой Empyrium все время была и остается природа, во всей ее красоте, и не важно какая мызыка ее описывает - будь то блэк, дум, или просто гитарные мелодии. И это удается группе на протяжении всего срока существования группы. Надин, исполнила прекрасные и красивые партии игры на смычковых инструментов, отлично поработали и другие участники группы (которых всего трое :-) С нетерпением жду сделющего релиза группы (как обещал Андреас, это будет весьма необычно)

The Score – An Epic Journey is a soundtrack album by the Dutch symphonic metal formation Epica, released in 2005. It is the film soundtrack to Joyride, a Dutch production.
Most of the songs of the album are instrumental, except for four songs. The three songs that do feature the singing voice of Simone Simons ("Trois Vierges", "Solitary Ground", "Quietus") are different versions of songs from the album Consign to Oblivion, which was released earlier the same year.
The album was originally supposed to be released on 8 September. After two delays, this date changed to 20 September 2005. The first samples of The Score were given to Jimmy Lim by Mark Jansen in Madrid.

The Phantom Agony is the first full-length studio album by Dutch symphonic metal band Epica. It was released in 2003 by the Dutch label Transmission Records. It is the first album recorded by guitarist Mark Jansen after his departure from the band After Forever. On this album, Jansen continues with the collection of songs that make up The Embrace That Smothers. The first three parts can be found on Prison of Desire (2000), After Forever's debut album, and the following three parts can be found on The Divine Conspiracy (2007), Epica's third album. These songs deal with the dangers of organized religion.
The album was re-released on 23 March 2013, which coincided with Epica’s 10th anniversary Retrospect show, as a 2-disc expanded edition by Epica’s former record label Transmission Records.

General response to Requiem for the Indifferent was positive. AllMusic stated that the album "is a typically elaborate and ambitious affair, incorporating copious amounts of choral work and classical arrangements into the band's neatly established blend of goth, progressive, power, and symphonic metal." Natalie Zed of About.com staff considers Requiem for the Indifferent "a transitional album for the band", which tries to expand their musical range experimenting with "weird" riffing and new combination of vocals, while "losing none of the richness that has gained them fans."

Dutch symphonic metal legends Epica have always been the model of consistency throughout their career. Each album has been bigger, more grandiose and dare I say… epic than their last with very few missteps along the way. With their latest album “The Holographic Principle”, the band has maintained their usual level of excellence, and then some.

Requiem for the Indifferent is the fifth studio album by Dutch symphonic metal band Epica. It was released on 9 March 2012. It was the final album to feature original member Yves Huts on bass guitar.

According to Mark Jansen, "This title refers to the end of an era. Mankind can no longer stick their head in the sand for the things that are happening around us. We are facing many challenges. There is an enormous tension between different religions and cultures, wars, natural disasters and a huge financial crisis, which is getting out of control. More than ever we will need each other to overcome these problems. As we are all connected; the universe, earth, nature, animals and human beings, this period in time will be the prelude to the end for those who still don't want to, or simply won't see it. A Requiem for the Indifferent but also a possibility for a new beginning with great new chances!"

Design Your Universe è il quarto album in studio del gruppo musicale olandese Epica, pubblicato il 16 ottobre 2009 dalla Nuclear Blast.
Si tratta del primo album registrato insieme al chitarrista Isaac Delahaye, il quale ha sostituito Ad Sluijter, nonché il primo in cui il batterista Ariën van Weesenbeek ha registrato alcuni growl aggiuntivi in accompagnamento a Jansen, oltre ad aver scritto alcuni riff di chitarra e ad eseguire alcune parti parlate.

Design Your Universe is het vierde studioalbum van de Nederlandse metalband Epica. Het album werd door de platenmaatschappij Nuclear Blast op 16 oktober 2009 uitgebracht. Epica presenteerde het album op 10 oktober met een show in Paradiso in Amsterdam.
Op het album staan drie nummers in de serie "A New Age Dawns", die begon op Epica's tweede album, Consign to Oblivion uit 2005.
Op 17 juli 2019 werd bekendgemaakt dat er een gouden editie van het album op 4 oktober 2019 uit zal komen.

Consign to Oblivion is the second studio-album by Dutch symphonic metal band Epica, and was released in 2005. "Trois Vierges" features a guest appearance by former Kamelot vocalist Roy Khan. The album's lyrics are heavily influenced by Mayan Civilization.
