Timepieces: The Best of Eric Clapton is a greatest hits album by British musician Eric Clapton. The album was originally released by RSO/Polydor Records in April 1982 (see 1982 in music). The following year a second volume, Time Pieces Vol.II Live in the Seventies, was released by the label. The album has been reissued several times and has been awarded certifications in several regions. Billboard reported, the album sold more than 13,400,000 copies worldwide.

My Secret Life is an album by Eric Burdon released in 2004. It was his first solo album release, which contains new titles, in nearly 16 years. It was his comeback album.
It features many different musical directions such as jazz, blues, soul, rock, ska, rhythm and blues, folk, boogie, world and pop. Burdon said in an interview that every song is different. The album peaked No. 93 on the German album chart after it sold 20,000 copies in the UK. The lyrics contain a tribute to Luiz Calanca, famous brazilian vinyl collector and owner of the record store Baratos Afins, which is based in São Paulo, Brazil.

I Say I Say I Say is the sixth studio album from synthpop duo Erasure, released in 1994 by Mute Records in the UK and Elektra Records in the U.S. The album was produced by Martyn Ware, who was a founding member of veteran synthpop groups The Human League and Heaven 17.

After travelling worldwide to promote her previous album Shepherd Moons (1991), and contributing to film soundtracks, Enya took a short break before she started writing and recording a new album in 1993 with her longtime recording partners, arranger and producer Nicky Ryan and his wife, lyricist Roma Ryan. The album is Enya's first to be recorded entirely in Ireland, and covers themes that include Irish and Druid mythology, the idea of one's home, journeys, religion, dreams and love. Following her worldwide promotional tour in support of her previous album The Memory of Trees (1995), Enya began selecting tracks for a compilation album in early 1997 as her recording contract with Warner Music permitted her to do so. The album contains songs from her debut album Enya (1987) to The Memory of Trees (1995) and two new tracks, "Paint the Sky with Stars" and "Only If...".

"Escape" is a song written by Kara DioGuardi, Enrique Iglesias, Steve Morales and David Siegel for Iglesias' 2001 album Escape. The song is the album's opening track, and was released as its second single in 2002 (see 2002 in music). The song reached number three in the UK and number twelve in the U.S. charts. There is a Spanish version of the song, also sung by Iglesias, titled "Escapar". The song sold 3.6 million copies in 2002.

Includes his seventeen number-one singles in the Billboard Hot Latin Tracks and two new songs, "¿Dónde Están Corazón?" and "Lloro Por Ti", both written by Enrique Iglesias and Coti Sorokin. The first single released to promote the album, "¿Dónde Están Corazón?", became the 18th number-one single for the artist and "Lloro Por Tí" also peaked at number-one on that list.
