Малоизвестная группа по сути, но зато какой зубодробительный и скоростной дэт\трэш она играла! Правда она расспалась после выхода Exit Paradise в 94 году из-за разногласий между участниками и отсутствия помощи от лейбла. Хоть и парни считают, что последний альбом является лучшей работой, я в корне не согласен, потому что предыдущие 2 альбомы были на порядок сильней - в последней работе был сильный уклон в сторону дэта, а не треша, да и то не очень-то хорошо вышло. Я бы предпочёл купить альбом Soulless у Grave, чем Exit Paradise у Epidemic. В общем, любителям данного направления посвящается!

Без откровений, но послушать можно. Впрочем, по-моему, атмоблек весьма консервативный жанр, чтобы там что-то прям новаторское делать. Думаю, что в живую на metal over russia это должен неплохо звучать.

Судя по всему, Джо сильно разозлился и на публику, и на себя самого, объявив, что третий полноформатный релиз в рамках проекта станет завершающим. А уходить надо на мажорной ноте. Англичанин конкретно залип на студии, а тут ещё и пандемия нагрянула, заставив отказаться от концертной деятельности. Альбом плодотворно готовился несколько лет и вышел в декабре 2021-го. Уверен, теперь Хоукера заставят хорошенько обдумать своё решение о закрытии Ethereal Shroud

The Score – An Epic Journey is a soundtrack album by the Dutch symphonic metal formation Epica, released in 2005. It is the film soundtrack to Joyride, a Dutch production.
Most of the songs of the album are instrumental, except for four songs. The three songs that do feature the singing voice of Simone Simons ("Trois Vierges", "Solitary Ground", "Quietus") are different versions of songs from the album Consign to Oblivion, which was released earlier the same year.
The album was originally supposed to be released on 8 September. After two delays, this date changed to 20 September 2005. The first samples of The Score were given to Jimmy Lim by Mark Jansen in Madrid.

The Phantom Agony is the first full-length studio album by Dutch symphonic metal band Epica. It was released in 2003 by the Dutch label Transmission Records. It is the first album recorded by guitarist Mark Jansen after his departure from the band After Forever. On this album, Jansen continues with the collection of songs that make up The Embrace That Smothers. The first three parts can be found on Prison of Desire (2000), After Forever's debut album, and the following three parts can be found on The Divine Conspiracy (2007), Epica's third album. These songs deal with the dangers of organized religion.
The album was re-released on 23 March 2013, which coincided with Epica’s 10th anniversary Retrospect show, as a 2-disc expanded edition by Epica’s former record label Transmission Records.

Requiem for the Indifferent is the fifth studio album by Dutch symphonic metal band Epica. It was released on 9 March 2012. It was the final album to feature original member Yves Huts on bass guitar.

According to Mark Jansen, "This title refers to the end of an era. Mankind can no longer stick their head in the sand for the things that are happening around us. We are facing many challenges. There is an enormous tension between different religions and cultures, wars, natural disasters and a huge financial crisis, which is getting out of control. More than ever we will need each other to overcome these problems. As we are all connected; the universe, earth, nature, animals and human beings, this period in time will be the prelude to the end for those who still don't want to, or simply won't see it. A Requiem for the Indifferent but also a possibility for a new beginning with great new chances!"

Design Your Universe is het vierde studioalbum van de Nederlandse metalband Epica. Het album werd door de platenmaatschappij Nuclear Blast op 16 oktober 2009 uitgebracht. Epica presenteerde het album op 10 oktober met een show in Paradiso in Amsterdam.
Op het album staan drie nummers in de serie "A New Age Dawns", die begon op Epica's tweede album, Consign to Oblivion uit 2005.
Op 17 juli 2019 werd bekendgemaakt dat er een gouden editie van het album op 4 oktober 2019 uit zal komen.

Consign to Oblivion is the second studio-album by Dutch symphonic metal band Epica, and was released in 2005. "Trois Vierges" features a guest appearance by former Kamelot vocalist Roy Khan. The album's lyrics are heavily influenced by Mayan Civilization.

Consign to Oblivion is het tweede volledige album van de Nederlandse symphonic metal band Epica. Het heeft als thema de Maya-voorspelling over het jaar 2012, waarin een nieuw tijdperk zou aanbreken. Toch is het niet helemaal een conceptalbum. Er kwam een special edition van het album uit in de vorm van een digipak met een dvd-documentaire over het album. Op dit album staan de eerste drie delen van "A new Age Dawns", een reeks die wordt vervolgd op het album Design Your Universe uit 2009.

Jeff Lynne told Rolling Stone magazine that the idea came from him listening to the original Electric Light Orchestra recordings, and thinking that he could produce a better result having since had a long career as a record producer. Lynne decided to re-record a number of songs from scratch, and began with "Mr. Blue Sky". He told Rolling Stone: "I enjoyed doing that a lot, and when I listened back to it and compared it to the old one, I really liked it much better." It was suggested by his manager that Lynne record a few more versions of Electric Light Orchestra songs, the results being recordings of "Evil Woman" and "Strange Magic". Lynne also liked these versions, so he continued by producing a full album of re-recordings.

Balance of Power was the last studio album by the Electric Light Orchestra before their initial disbanding (the band would later reform in 2000 and again in 2014). By this time Kelly Groucutt had departed and the group was pared down to a trio of Jeff Lynne (who doubled on bass as a result of Groucutt's absence), Richard Tandy, and Bev Bevan. Recording for the album began in mid of 1984, with a planned release for Spring 1985. The addition of several synthesizer tracks and mixing work by Reinhold Mack to the album caused its release to be pushed back to early 1986. ELO played some live concerts in the UK and Europe (their last for fifteen years), and for one UK show George Harrison performed as guest guitarist.

Critical reaction to the album has been largely positive. At the time of release Robert Christgau said the album contained "AM and FM faves" which were "served hot, raw, or both". "Ultimate Classic Rock" ranked the album in the "Top 100 Live Albums", and suggested that it was superior to the studio albums recorded by Clapton at the time.
