German-Tanzanian jazz singer Lyambiko burst onto Berlin's music scene in 1999 after a music-oriented upbringing. The multi-talented performer brought together her skills of singing and playing piano to stages all over Berlin, slowly gathering attention as an urgent new talent. By 2001, she was fronting a jazz quartet that began touring throughout Germany, then Europe and abroad. Lyambiko has been heralded as one of the strongest voices to emerge on the jazz scene in a long time. She has since released seven albums with her quartet, reaching the top of the jazz charts in international circuits.

The foundation for Light Damage was laid in Luxembourg in 2005, after a yearly festival, ?Spirit of ?66?, where drummer Sébastien and guitarist Stephane Lecocq got to know each other. They joined up with singer/guitarist Nicholas-John and bass player Fréderik Hardy. After some changes in line up and 7 years of playing coves and now material at festivals and in rehearsal rooms, Thibaut Grappin became the bands drummer (replacing founder Sebastien) and Sébastien Perignon took care of the keyboards.

Laid Back are a Danish electronic music duo group from Copenhagen, formed in 1979. The duo consists of John Guldberg (vocals, guitar, bass) and Tim Stahl (vocals, keyboards, drums, bass). They are best known for the hits "Sunshine Reggae" and "White Horse" from 1983 and "Bakerman" from 1989.

Stiletto is one of Lita Ford's better CDs, and one in a trilogy of good albums that she recorded during the 1980s (the others being Lita and Dangerous Curves). Lita has always considered herself primarily a guitarist, and she doesn't disappoint. Her heavy guitar lines reveal some impressive talent. The songwriting is a bit intermittent. Standout tracks include The Ripper, Aces and Eights, and the heartfelt memorial to her late mother, Lisa. There are a couple of poorly conceived songs - Wake Up Call and Dedication sound completely out of place - but on the whole this CD is pleasant and listenable. The remastering on the new BGO edition is nice, resulting in clean, crisp sound.
