Альбом из тех времён, когда идея и звучание NA уже более-менее оформились и приняли на тот момент самую адекватную форму. Заметно это по тому, что и плотным звуком, и манерой пения (скорее, визжания) Конелли, и ядовитыми текстами, и прикольными фишками «Survive» обозначает то, что в более концентрированной и отполированной форме было представлено на «Handle With Care» (1989). А последний представляет собой новаторство в отношении «Survive» только в более плотном звуке, более лаконичном выражении и ещё более усилившемся дуракавалянии.

Альбом получился намного агрессивнее предыдущего, местами музыка напоминает скорее не американский пауэр, замешанный на прогрессив-трэше, а чуть ли не дэт. Дэйн срывается на крик, а Лумис выписывает малость невероятные соло, заставляющие усомниться в его человеческом происхождении, но всё это настолько пронзительно мелодичное и красивое, что даже как-то не верится.

It Was Written is the second studio album by American rapper Nas, released on July 2, 1996, by Columbia Records. After the modest commercial success of his debut album Illmatic (1994), Nas pursued a more polished, mainstream sound for It Was Written. Produced largely by Trackmasters, it departed from the debut's raw, underground aesthetic and embraced mafioso and gangsta themes.

The album was a commercial success, selling 270,000 copies in its first week and debuting at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart, while receiving mostly positive reviews. It also heralded Nas's mainstream popularity and contributed to the rise of mafioso rap. However, Nas's more commercial sound fostered accusations of selling out within the hip hop community, and its critical standing suffered with comparisons to the acclaimed Illmatic.

Loose is the third studio album by Canadian singer-songwriter Nelly Furtado, released on 7 June 2006, by Geffen Records and Mosley Music Group. Recording sessions for Loose took place from 2005 to 2006. The album revisits the hard-rock style previously explored on Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere and Zuma. The first two tracks are songs Young and Crazy Horse originally wrote and performed live in the 1970s with "Country Home" notably being performed on their 1976 tour. "Farmer John" is a cover of a 1960s song, written and performed by R&B duo Don and Dewey and also performed by British Invasion group The Searchers as well as garage band The Premiers. Young revealed that the song "Days that Used to Be" is inspired by Bob Dylan's "My Back Pages". The album features many extended guitar jams, with two songs stretching out to more than ten minutes.

Nuclear Assaults recorded two great thrash metal demos with the line-up of Lilker, vocalist John Connelly, guitarist Anthony Bramante and ex-TT Quick drummer Glenn Evans before signed a record contract. This compilation features the classic ‘Live Suffer Die’ demo from 1985 and two rare unreleased live shows. First out is 5 tracks from the Aardschokdag in Issehalle in Zwolle on the 29th of May 1988. The second live show features three tracks from the famous Hammersmith Odeon venue in England.
