Gigaton is the eleventh studio album by the American rock band Pearl Jam, released on March 27, 2020. It was preceded by the singles "Dance of the Clairvoyants", "Superblood Wolfmoon" and "Quick Escape". It is the band's first studio album in seven years. The album's track listing was confirmed by the band on January 20, 2020. The cover artwork was produced by photographer Paul Nicklen. Its release was scheduled to coincide with a tour of North America. However, the North American leg was postponed due to the 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic, with the aim to reschedule them for a later date.

Как и три предыдущих диска Pink Floyd, The Wall является концептуальным альбомом, исследующим тему отчуждения и самоизоляции. По своей структуре это — рок-опера, сюжет которой повествует о Пинке (главный герой сочетает в себе черты самого Уотерса и первого лидера группы — Сида Барретта). Душевный упадок Пинка начинается с потери отца, который погибает во время Второй мировой войны, усугубляется травлей со стороны школьных учителей и чрезмерной опекой деспотичной матери, а затем крахом его брака; все это приводит его к добровольному отчуждению от общества. Стена — символ этого отчуждения. По словам Уотерса, идея альбома зародилась после одного из концертных выступлений группы во время турне In the Flesh Tour (1977), когда он, не вытерпев выходок одного из фанатов у сцены, плюнул ему в лицо. I have all three of Paul Hardcastle's Chill Lounge CD's and in my opinion, this is his best yet! I hope he does more Chill Lounge albums. Besides these three albums, I have several others and love all of them! I only discovered his music several years ago, and loved it from the first listen! On this CD, I love the remix of "Desire", and this is better than the original version that I have on the album of the same name. I've been reading up on Paul Hardcastle on the internet and never realized he has done so much music! He is one of the best smooth jazz artists out there! I hope he releases more music for years to come! Besides enjoying his music, it has gotten me through some hard times in the past year. I put on one of his albums and I forget what was troubling me!
