Echoes: The Best of Pink Floyd is the fourth compilation album by the English rock band Pink Floyd, released on 5 November 2001 by EMI internationally and a day later by Capitol Records in the United States. It debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 album chart on 24 November 2001, with sales of 214,650 copies. It remained on the chart for 26 weeks. The album was certified Gold, Platinum and Double Platinum on 6 December 2001 in the US by the RIAA. It was certified Triple Platinum in the US on 8 January 2002, and Quadruple Platinum on 10 September 2007.

In Between is the fifth studio album by Paul van Dyk released on August 14, 2007. The album features a wide range of collaborations including David Byrne of Talking Heads, Jessica Sutta of the Pussycat Dolls, Ashley Tomberlin of Luminary, Alex M.O.R.P.H., Lo-Fi Sugar, Rea Garvey of Reamonn, Ryan Merchant and Wayne Jackson. The latter had collaborated earlier with Paul van Dyk on the song "The Other Side". The album also features a vocal sample of Ben Lost from Probspot's "Blows My Mind" on the song "Another Sunday".

Thin Air is British singer-songwriter Peter Hammill's 32nd solo album, released on his own Fie! Records label in June 2009. It was additionally made available as digital download through Burning Shed Records.As on his previous release, Singularity, Hammill played all instruments, wrote all the songs and produced the album.

X My Heart is the 22nd studio album by Peter Hammill, originally released on Hammill's own Fie! Records in 1996. It is the last of Hammill's albums to date performed in what might be described as a full band style; the later albums have been more solo and intimate in style.

Никогда не встречал никаких подобных поворотов в творческой эволюции метал-групп. Собственно, это не эволюция, а революция - между двумя соседними альбомами ещё никто не делал такой резкий, непредсказуемый, и, в то же время, результативный шаг. И альбом оказался белой вороной на фоне всего предыдущего творчества группы - редкой птицей занесенной в красную, то есть золотую, книгу истории музыки. Альбом оказался более проговым, чем весь прог-дэт, более джаз-дэтовым, чем весь остальной джаз-метал. В нем также есть черты РИО или авант-прога, кои редко встретишь в метале. А главное- все метальные джазовые и авангардные черты оказались сплетены в единое целое и впечатление создется потрясающе легкое, не натужное, не грузящее, не замороченное, и всему тут найдено свое укромное место. Рекомендую однозначно для тех кто очень хотел бы узнать что означает ПРОГРЕССИВНОСТЬ в МЕТАЛЕ.

Ребята играют фьюнерал дум... но иногда музыка уходит в блэкерскую сторону, иногда в эмбиент... причём это происходит настолько редко но в тоже время гармонично, что из общей канвы совсем не выбивается... От прочего фьюнерала эта команда выделяется в первую очередь чёткой композицией песен, в то время как большинство фьюнераловцев уходят от конкретного построения песни.... превращая её в неразличимый поток, то здесь всё достаточно раздельно и размеренно, однако это совсем не портит музыку... а даже наоборот, придаёт ей ещё большую красоту

Funhouse is the fifth studio album by American singer and songwriter Pink, released by LaFace Records and Jive Records in Europe on October 24, 2008, and on October 28 in the United States. A pop and pop rock record, Funhouse was inspired by Pink's separation from her husband, Carey Hart. To record the album, she enlisted her previous collaborators, such as Billy Mann, Butch Walker, Max Martin and MuchoPsycho, while also involving new music producers and songwriters, such as Danja, Jimmy Harry, Tony Kanal and Eg White.

Evel Knievel Factor is the second studio-album by the Finnish rock group Private Line. It was released in Finland on 1 November 2006. Two singles have been released from the album: "Broken Promised Land" on 31 May 2005, and "Sound Advice" on 28 January 2007. The b-side on the "Broken Promised Land" single is the album track "Uniform", while as b-sides to "Sound Advice" are two previously unreleased songs, "Tokyo" and "Criminal". The title is a reference to legendary American motorcycle daredevil Evel Knievel.

Delicate Sound of Thunder is the first entirely live album by the English progressive rock band Pink Floyd. It was recorded over five nights at the Nassau Coliseum on Long Island, New York in August 1988 and mixed at Abbey Road Studios in September 1988. It was released on 22 November 1988, through EMI Records in the United Kingdom and Columbia Records in the United States.

Philip Catherine was born in London to an English mother and Belgian father and was raised in Brussels. His grandfather played violin in the London Symphony Orchestra. Catherine started on guitar in his teens, and by seventeen he was performing professionally at local venues.
He released his debut album, Steam, in 1970. During the next few years, he studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston and with Mick Goodrick and George Russell. In 1976, he and guitarist Larry Coryell recorded and toured as an acoustic duo. The following year he recorded with Charles Mingus, who dubbed him "Young Django". In the early 1980s, he toured briefly with Benny Goodman. He was in trio with Didier Lockwood and Christian Escoudé, then in a trio with Chet Baker. During the 1990s, he recorded three albums with trumpeter Tom Harrell.
Catherine has also worked with Lou Bennett, Kenny Drew, Dexter Gordon, Stéphane Grappelli, Karin Krog, Paul Kuhn, Sylvain Luc, Michael Mantler, Charlie Mariano, Palle Mikkelborg, Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen, Enrico Rava, Toots Thielemans, and Miroslav Vitous.

Hit is a 2003 compilation album of songs by British musician Peter Gabriel. It reached No. 29 in the UK album charts and No. 100 in the US. Disc one is labelled Hit and disc two Miss, reflecting the first disc's containing several of Gabriel's biggest-selling singles.
