Fields of Gold: The Best of Sting 1984–1994 is the first compilation issued by Sting. It features hit singles from his first four studio albums The Dream of the Blue Turtles, ...Nothing Like the Sun, The Soul Cages, and Ten Summoner's Tales. It was also released on LaserDisc, in which it is a music video compilation.

Soundgarden was an American rock band formed in Seattle, Washington, in 1984 by singer and drummer Chris Cornell, lead guitarist Kim Thayil (both of whom are the only members to appear in every incarnation of the band), and bassist Hiro Yamamoto; Cornell switched to rhythm guitar in 1985, replaced on drums initially by Scott Sundquist, and later by Matt Cameron in 1986. Yamamoto left in 1990 and was replaced initially by Jason Everman and shortly thereafter by Ben Shepherd. The band dissolved in 1997 and re-formed in 2010. Following Cornell's death in 2017 and a year of uncertainty regarding the band's future, Thayil declared in October 2018 that Soundgarden had disbanded once again, though they did reunite in January 2019 for a one-off concert in tribute to Cornell.

Secret Garden is an Irish-Norwegian band specialised in new instrumental music, led by the duo consisting of Irish violinist and singer Fionnuala Sherry and Norwegian composer, arranger and pianist Rolf Løvland.
The group came to fame when they won the 1995 Eurovision Song Contest, representing Norway with the composition "Nocturne". In the course of a partnership lasting over 25 years, they have sold millions of albums worldwide, many of which went platinum in numerous countries.

Status Quo are a British rock band that formed in 1962. The group originated in London as The Scorpions and was founded by Francis Rossi and Alan Lancaster while they were still schoolboys. After a number of lineup changes, which included the introduction of Rick Parfitt in 1967, the band became The Status Quo in 1967 and Status Quo in 1969. As of 2022, the group have been active for 60 consecutive years (despite announcing a breakup in 1984, they would play Live Aid the following year and resume normal activities in 1986).

Upon release, Lovers Rock was met with generally positive reviews from music critics, who praised the band's musical direction. The album earned Sade the Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album in 2002. Commercially, the album reached number 18 on the UK Albums Chart and number three on the US Billboard 200. It has since been certified triple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), having sold 3.9 million copies in the United States by February 2010. The album spawned two singles—"By Your Side" and "King of Sorrow"—and was further promoted by the band's Lovers Rock Tour. Following the release of Love Deluxe (1992), the band began an eight-year hiatus, during which Adu would experience media scrutiny and give birth to her first child.

Love Deluxe is the fourth studio album by English band Sade, released by Epic Records in the United Kingdom on 26 October 1992 and in the United States on 3 November 1992.

"System F" - сольный проект известного в мире диск-жокея, продюсера и композитора из Нидерландов Ферри Корстена (Ferry Corsten). Rame - бессмертный шедевр от Snap!. Даже не смотря на свой возраст (более пятнадцати лет с нами), эта композиция до сих пор радует слушателей красотой мелодии и восточным женским вокалом. Сильная вещь, она способна держаться в первых строчках музыкального хит-парада всегда.

What is this album about? A group of weary clubbers scattered around someone's living room or a friendly mid-week social with plenty of herbal remedies... The moment you realise that everyone has slipped into the track that you are listening to and that you all have goosebumps... Those achingly beautiful pieces of music that send tingles down your arms without a snare roll in sight.
This album is a montage of music from the soul, regardless of genre. A soundtrack that spans artists from the last twenty-five years, some of whom are no longer with us and some who are currently shaping the future of music in their own laid-back way. Some are head-nodders, some are breath-holders, but all share a common element - a charge of emotion. The Beloved "Spacemen", a virtually unknown track featured on their "X" album which some people described as being a buried treasure. Banco De Gaia "Touching The Void" provides one of the most notable euphoric moments on the whole album as it powers away from Ofra Haza's "Love Song" which sets this moment up complementing the intro so exquisitely. The Future Sound Of London "Papua New Guinea" my well have appeared on a few albums but never in this form. The original version is probably up there with Orbital's "Belfast" in terms of classics but this version is a little more ambient building to something quite dubby yet still retaining the musical integrity of the original. Libra "Calling Your Name" is the track on which most people heard the voice of Jan Johnston for the first time. The original was produced by B.T. A producer who is now recognised as one of the industry's finest and a constant influence for Solar Stone. The Solar Stone remix was inspired by groups such as Pink Floyd and Tangerine Dream, two acts who undoubtedly inspired quite a few of the artists who feature on this album.
One of the biggest records in clubland at this very moment of writing is Tall Paul vs INXS "Precious Heart". Larry Lush, Tall Paul's producer, provides the ambient re-working of the original and one of the best remixes on the album.
The remaining tracks are all compiled by Solar Stone, who although not yet a "household name" have been responsible for many a big club track or remix over the last 5 years. Always firm believers in quality ang longevity as opposed to "flavour of the month" hype, which probably explains why they've been successfully producing for such a long time. And, at the time of writing are still very much in-demand..."

"Rhythm Is A Dancer" - композиция, которая подарила немецкому коллективу Snap! огромную популярность в мире и оглушающие овации от самых разных слушателей со всех уголков нашей планеты. Удостоилась безумного количества переизданий, ремиксов и ремейков, подняв жанр электронной музыки (в особенности house и зарождающийся тогда trance) ещё ближе к вершине музыкального Олимпа. В настоящее время, спустя двадцать лет, легко продолжает оставаться любимой и приятной, словно в который раз подтверждая известное выражение Володи Фонаря: "хорошая музыка не исчезает и не забывается, она остаётся с нами навсегда".

В настоящей новости вниманию уважаемого слушателя предлагается техно-версия на тему "It's A Fine Day" от проекта Shape Dance, основателями и участниками которого выступили музыканты из Германии Axel Wilhelm и Mario Koss. Все композиции настоящего сингла выдержаны в стилях techno и hard trance, о чём недвусмысленно как бы намекает нестандартное оформление самого диска и обложек к нему: оригинальная форма по краю в виде зубцов циркулярной пилы не только смотрится с интересом, но и при вращении создаёт звук, похожий на визг круговой пилы. Сказать честно, мне было непросто заставить себя воспроизвести этот диск в приводе своего ПК, потому что я всё время опасался за его сохранность (кстати, не безосновательно).
