The original Ten Years After, featuring the late Alvin Lee, formed in 1967 and made their mark at Woodstock in 1969. They racked up staggering sales in the 70s while staying below the radar of iconography, before splitting in 1974. After a series of revivals, founder members Chick Churchill and Ric Lee were moved to re-form the band following Lee’s death in 2013, taking on board new members Chris Hodgkinson (bass) and Marcus Bonfanti (vocals, guitar). This album is in no sense a departure from their old style – they owe us nothing new – and is a showcase for their long-matured blues, rock and jazz blend, with tracks like Iron Horse, Up In Smoke and the engagingly mournful Stoned Alone full of seasoned virtuosity.

Tori Amos releases a new album featuring orchestral reworkings of previously released songs on 1 October 2012. Gold Dust will be her thirteenth studio album and was recorded with the Metropole Orchestra, conducted by Jules Buckley.

Having flirted with classical music forms at various points in her 20-year recording career, Tori Amos has finally committed in full. On Night of Hunters, her 12th studio album and, notably, first for Deutsche Grammophon, the Peabody Conservatory prodigy draws on four centuries of European art music (Bach, Schubert, Chopin, Satie, among others), as well as on popular balladry and elements of contemporary musical theater, to create a song cycle by turns intricate and impressionistic, demanding and enchanting. There are no guitars on the album and, save for Amos’s signature Bösendorfer, no percussion instruments. Instead, the album’s 14 songs are arranged for piano, strings, woodwinds, and voice. Doubtless, it is the first and the last of these—Amos’s piano and her voice, more exquisite here than ever—onto which most listeners will immediately fasten.

15 мая 2009 года немецкая рок-н-ролл-кавер-группа The Baseballs выпустила дебютный альбом "Strike!". Он занимал первые позиции чартов в Финляндии, Норвегии, Швеции, Фландри и шестое место в чартах Германии. Во многих странах Европы альбом получил статус платинового.

Дополненное издание дебютного альбома, получившее название Strike! Back немецкой рок-н-ролл-группы, ставшей популярной благодаря обыгровке современных поп-хитов в стиле 50-х годов.

15 апреля 2011 года вышел второй второй альбом немецкой рок-н-ролл кавер-группы. Так же вышли два клипа на песни «Hello» и «Candy Shop».

Рождественский альбом немецкой рок-н-рольной группы снова окунает слушателя в 50-е и 60-е годы. В поддержку альбом группа отправилась в концертный тур в сопровождении Neuen Philharmonie Frankfurt & Band.
