"You're Makin' Me High" is the lead single from American singer Toni Braxton's second studio album, Secrets (1996). The mid-tempo song represents a joint collaboration between the Grammy Award-winning producer Babyface and Bryce Wilson. The beat of the song was originally for singer-songwriter Brandy, with Dallas Austin pegged to write a lyric to override; however, Braxton had Babyface write lyrics for the song. It was ultimately issued in the United States as a double A-side with "Let It Flow", the airplay hit from the 1995 film Waiting to Exhale.

"Un-Break My Heart" is a song by American singer Toni Braxton for her second studio album, Secrets (1996). The song was written by Diane Warren and produced by David Foster. It was released as the second single from the album on October 7, 1996 (Braxton's 29th birthday), through LaFace Records. The song is a ballad about a "blistering heartbreak" in which the singer begs a former lover to return and undo the pain he has caused. It won Best Female Pop Vocal Performance at the 39th Annual Grammy Awards in 1997. It has sold over 10 million copies worldwide and nearly 3 million in the United States alone, making it one of the best selling singles of all time.

"Nobody Knows" is a song by R&B singer Tony Rich (then known as the Tony Rich Project) from his 1996 debut album, Words. Released as his debut single on November 7, 1995, the song peaked at number two on both the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks charts. It also became a hit in several other countries, topping the Irish Singles Chart and reaching number two in Australia and Canada, number four in the United Kingdom, and the top 20 in the Netherlands, New Zealand, and Sweden. Rich received a nomination for the 1997 Grammy Award for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance.

Перед нами второй полноформатный альбом норвежского коллектива, заслуживающий самой положительной оценки. При всей кажущейся "однообразности" песен (если так можно сказать), каждая из них облладает своим неповторимым настроением и атмосферой. В меру агрессивная, местами меланхоличная, с запоминающимися мелодиями музыка, исполненная на очень высоком уровне. Очень удачно используется женский вокал в сочетании с жестким гроулингом, именно там, где он необходим, чтобы добавить эмоциональности в музыку. Last month Universal Music’s enormous Moody Blues Timeless Flight 17-disc super deluxe box set was released, and like a few recent box sets (Wings Over America, Smashing Pumpkin’s Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness) it retails at well over £100 (nearer to £200 on amazon UK at the time of writing).
Unlike those sets, Timeless Flight celebrates an entire career, and Mark Powell (who researched, compiled and produced this set) has done an incredible job in terms of the audio within (14 discs of it, including three DVDs with six albums in 5.1 surround sound), the video content (a further three DVDs) and the supporting content of which the 124-page hardback book is the outstanding element.
The book is one of the very best we’ve seen in a super deluxe music set, with a seemingly endless amount of archive photography, sitting alongside words which tell the story of the band.

Я вполне допускаю, что кому-то альбом может показаться сумбурным и непоследовательным. Тут то чистый вокал и почти пост-рок, то дум-дэт с неправдоподобно глубоким гроулом, то блэковый монохром под бластбиты, то настоящий индейский трайбал-транс - "Exuvia" вообще довольно глубоко погружается в североамериканскую мифолигию, умудряясь находить в ней общность с древнегреческой - и все это в максимально странных сочетаниях.
