"Burning Bridges" - теперь уже классика мелодичного дэт/трэша. Музыка команды энергична, драйвова и прямолинейна, но не лишена мелодий и потрясных и быстрых соло-партий братьев Эммотов, мощные барабаны и бас. Вокал перескриминг/недогроулинг, но он подходит музыке. Но все-таки что-то в этом релизе, точнее во второй его половине отталкивает от песен, они не запоминаются и хочется вернуться в начало диска и прослушать снова до середины. Во второй половине теряется быстрота и энергия и появляются медленные и тягучие композиции

И тоже, на удивление вполне вменяемый альбом. Пусть и звучит уже как сборник каверов группы на самих себя, но в этот раз они хотя бы вернулись к бодрой модернухе, оставив поп-танцульки из крайней плиты в прошлом. Откровений никаких и былых восторгов, как во времена дебюта, от альбома тоже можно не ждать. Но несколько зажигательных хитов (Inferno, Helix, Dream, Momentum, My Haven) тут как всегда в наличии, а большего я уже и не ждал от них.

Вообще, "Maximalism" является логичным продолжителем предыдущего альбома, но не без изрядной дозы экспериментов. Следует отметить большой крен в сторону популярных американских исполнителей и откровенной электроники, хотя прежде звучание Amaranthe было по большей части классическим шведским и основывалось на простеньких синтезаторных сэмплах. Гитары и ударные нынче задвинуты на второй план, уступая место красочной нетипичной для группы электронике, что сделало музыку немного легче, и ещё более качёвой, чем прежде. По-прежнему присутствуют гитарные соло, а звук, как и всегда, записан на уровне, потому недостаток гитар не ощущается.

The Nexus is the second studio album by Swedish heavy metal band Amaranthe. The album was released on varying dates in March 2013, starting on the 13th in Japan and concluding on the 26th in the US. The Nexus is a development of the sound and ideas Amaranthe introduced on their first record. The band stated that they felt "the contrasts are greater, the mix and blends of genres is more controversial, and more creative freedoms were taken in this album." It was the last album with harsh vocalist Andy Solveström.

По поводу музыкального материала - продукт получился качественным, добротным, с большой долей коммерции. Но как в большинстве коммерческих проектах , на мой сугубо субъективный взгляд, альбому не хватает какой-то искорки, способной разжечь огонь в душе (как в первых двух альбомах), нет чего-то революционно нового, чем могли бы удивить музыканты. В целом ставлю твёрдую "четвёрку".

Amaranthe is the debut studio album by Swedish heavy metal band Amaranthe. The album was released April 11, 2011 and reached #35 and #16 on the Swedish and Finnish charts respectively. It also topped the Japanese Import charts beating Lady Gaga. A deluxe edition was released in October 2011, featuring two bonus tracks and a DVD.

ABBA Gold: Greatest Hits is a compilation album by the Swedish pop group ABBA. It was released on 21 September 1992 through PolyGram, making it the first compilation to be released after the company had acquired Polar Music, and thus the rights to the ABBA back catalogue.

The Sign is a 1993 album by Swedish pop group Ace of Base, released as the band's debut album in North America, Japan, and some Latin American countries by Arista Records. The Sign contains songs from Ace of Base's debut album, Happy Nation (1992) and the new songs "Don't Turn Around", "The Sign", and "Living in Danger" as well as revised versions of "Voulez-Vous Danser" and "Waiting for Magic".

The Bridge is the second album by Swedish pop music group Ace of Base. It was composed during 1994 and 1995, and released in October 1995. It is the only Ace of Base album to feature sizable contributions of writing, production, vocals, and harmonies by all four band members, each having an important part in its creation.
The album was preceded by the singles "Beautiful Life" and "Lucky Love", which had varied levels of success. Both songs reached the top of the US Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart and "Beautiful Life" peaked at number 15 on the US Billboard Hot 100, "Lucky Love" reaching number 30. Following the release of the album, "Never Gonna Say I'm Sorry" was released as the third and final single from the album but failed to gain recognition due to a lack of promotion.
