В принципе, уже состав сплита должен привлечь внимание ценителей НСБМ (все таки 2 легенды сошлись). Но Bilskirnir откровенно разочаровал - две с половиной песни в медленном темпе с невнятной мелодикой и посылом. Впрочем, этот проект лучше судить по полноформатникам, здесь не самые их лучшие вещи, сделано на отвали, лишь бы было. А вот Evil порадовали - характерный для для них сырой и яростный материал с интересными ходами и интерлюдиями - все ж таки живые легенды. Как итог - сплит все таки для коллекционеров НСБМ стаффа, остальные могут спокойно пройти мимо, я гоняю сидюк исключительно ради бразильцев.

"Reconquering Atlantean Supremacy" - вообще, по моему, одна из лучших НСБМ композиций, которые я когда либо слышал. Альбом сразу запал в душу, и после одного прослушивания не отправился куда подальше из плей- листа. Наоброт, после прослушивания какого-нибудь штампового и "стандартного" НСБМа появляется неистовое желание порекомендовать настойчивым образом Bilskirnir "Wotansvolk" этим "чудо-музыкантам". С неба звезд альбом не цепляет, но всем конкурентам способен дать крепкого пинка.

Лично мне данная порция творчества Beherit очень и очень нравится. Да, медленнее и спокойнее, чем ранние работы - но и смысла больше. Я бы отметил потрясающую атмосферу данного альбома. Спокойные, ритуальные клавишные... небольшие порции шумов... размеренность какая-то... иногда загробные голоса... нашептывания... затишье... то крики и молитвы, то споконый и уверенный голос... обложка все правильно отображает - атмосфера космоса удалась! Несмотря на всю злость пластинки, все же здесь есть какое-то спокойствие. Большое пространство космоса... тишина... ты один... а вокруг эта угнетающая и давящая на тебя среда... кромешная тьма... бесконечность.

Я никогда не чувствовал такого вдохновения за все то время, которое прошло с тех пор, когда я основал группу, а тогда я был еще тинейджером. На этом альбоме содержатся мои самые сильные риффы на сегодняшний день, также в нескольких песнях есть риффы Лески (Damian “Tom” Leski, вокал), на нем играют мои лучшие друзья, а что особенно любопытно, я сочинил весь альбом на гитарах Джеффа Ханнемана (Jeff Hanneman) и задействовал их при его записи, чтобы отдать дань уважения его влиянию на меня и на мир металла".
