After a significant break, pioneering Gothic Rockers Beseech have reunited and put the finishing touches on their latest dark and melancholic release entitled My Darkness, Darkness. If the title doesn’t give you a clue, the band hails from the legendary birthplace of the darker Metal genres, Gothenburg, Sweden (well, actually Borås, which is very near to Gothenburg). The newly revitalized act does their home town proud, delivering a moody and doom-laden sound that is right at home in the Gothic genre.
Beseech’s My Darkness, Darkness is about as pure Gothic as can be. It has a modern feel to the music, but a lushness and warmth in the sound recording that gives the music an almost classic rock sound. In the band’s own words, the album “…can be described as a theme of stories from a desolated borderland, where we live in symbiosis with the darkness and the light. Constantly we want to be reminded of our good deeds and bright memories, while we are silent about the diseases, tragedies and losses.”

Затем звучит бодрая, перенасыщенная взрывной энергией весны (минувшей ли?), песня-манифест «May Day». Её сменяет психоделическая, длящаяся почти восемь минут, композиция «Ra», посвящённая египетскому богу Солнца. Далее, одна за другой, идут динамичные, с шикарными аранжировками, пьесы «Rock’N’Roll Star» (вскоре ставшая хитом), «Polk Street Rag» и «Believe In Me», которые постепенно приближают слушателя к финалу — композиции-шедевру «Suicide». В «Suicide» ведущая минорная тема обрамляется лирически-оркестровым звучанием и, под самый конец, она вливается в шум городских будней — хлопающая дверь, одинокие шаги на лестнице, голоса на улице осеннего города. И где-то позади всей этой суеты звучит удаляющийся куда-то вдаль оркестр. «Octoberon» по полному праву занимает одно из главных мест в списке новаторских работ арт-рока.

I just love boney M, this is a great 3 cd collection...I am so happy with it!!! it reminds me of my childhood. My mom always listened to Boney M and i use to dance like crazy and i still do!!! It is uplifting music and fun to dance too!!! I have a favorite song from Boney M that is super hard to find and i finally found it on this Awesome cg collection...

37 Days is an album by American singer Beth Hart released in parts of Europe in 2007, followed in the UK in 2008. A DVD version of the album is also available, where each track is played to synced pro-shot video footage of that given song being recorded in studio. The UK version of the CD release contains live bonus tracks of "LA Song," "Learning to Live," and "Leave the Light On" tacked on at the end of the disc. The track "Soul Shine" is a cover of the song "Soulshine", originally written by Allman Brothers guitarist Warren Haynes.
