"Easy Listening Blues" is a bit of an oxymoron, especially in the hands of B.B. King, who might be smooth and urbane in some respects, but who's rarely recorded music that could be categorized as easy listening. That's the title that Crown used, however, for this all-instrumental 1962 collection.

War in My Mind is the ninth solo studio album by American singer-songwriter Beth Hart, released on September 27, 2019. The album was produced by Rob Cavallo. Hart will tour the UK and Ireland in support of the album in 2020.

My California is the fifth studio album by Beth Hart, released in 2010. Hart worked with Danish producer Rune Westberg, who had already worked on Beth's previous albums 37 Days and Leave the Light On. Westberg challenged Hart not to "scream with animal savagery", not to rely on the power of her voice but rather on the power of emotions. This makes My California a unique album in Hart's discography, with a constancy throughout the tracks that the fans were not used to with the previous albums.

Leave the Light On is an album by Beth Hart. Several versions of this album exist, ranging from the very original release in New Zealand in the spring of 2003 (on Warner Music NZ), the standard international version released worldwide later in the fall of 2003 (on Koch Records), then several specialized reissues in various European markets over the following few years. The German release (on Universal Music GmbH) contains entirely new recordings of three previously released songs, as well as three newer songs that would later be re-recorded for her next studio album 37 Days.

Beth Hart received a considerable boost from her collaboration with guitarist Joe Bonamassa, but her 2013 album, Bang Bang Boom Boom, finds the blues-rock belter returning to her comfort zone, working with producer Kevin Shirley and running through a selection of songs that are originals; songs that emphasize Hart's range and power. In some ways, this is the purest record Hart has yet recorded; there is a real sense of what she can sing and how she lays back, waiting for the moment when her wailing would create the strongest disruption.

Live in Amsterdam is a live album by Beth Hart and Joe Bonamassa. It was recorded at a live performance at the music venue Carré Theatre in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. A DVD version is also available. The album peaked No. 49 in the United Kingdom and No. 13 in the Netherlands.

The aspiring musician moved back to Mississippi in late 1979 and opened a stained glass studio, which he continues to operate today. Shelton also began to perform locally, primarily as a solo performer. By the mid 1990s he decided to push himself more as a musician and began putting together electric blues bands and writing his own material. Shelton currently performs with his four piece band as well as in solo and duo format. In addition to regular club gigs, he performs at festivals throughout the region, including the Howlin’ Wolf Memorial Blues Festival, Willie King’s Freedom Creek Blues Festival, and the Beale Street Mess Around.

In all senses a classic, masterfully-constructed old school British hard rock album School of Hard Knocks is every aural inch a Byford storybook highlighting his passionate interests. From the spoken word of “Inquisitor” leading into the metaltation on the Spanish Inquisition of “The Pit and Pendulum” to the autobiographical, old-school ‘wheels of steal’ era thrust of the title track, you’ll get to know Byford supremely well over the 11 tracks which comprise School of Hard Knocks. School of Hard Knocks is destined to be one of the biggest, most entertaining metal-plated surprises of 2020.

Also in 1955, B.B. King recorded "Every Day I Have the Blues". King attributed the song's appeal to arranger Maxwell Davis: "He [Davis] wrote a chart of 'Every Day I Have the Blues' with a crisp and relaxed sound I'd never heard before. I liked it so well, I made it my theme ... ... The induction statement includes: "Everyday I Have the Blues" is one of the most ubiquitous of all blues songs, a required number in the repertoires of the countless bar and lounge bands of many genres. Its late entry into the Blues Hall of Fame reflects the fact that no strong consensus emerged as to which of the hundreds of recorded versions was most deserving. But it often is associated with B.B. King, and so the first of his own many versions gets the honors.

Альбом в целом не похож ни на одну из работ Брюса, да и Смит играет здесь довольно жестковато для него же самого, почти не используя примочек (сравните его манеру и звук на его собственных работах в “Psycho Motel”и “ASAP” и вы поразитесь столь гениальному несоответствию, как будто играет не один и тот же человек). Сложно предсказать, каким бы был “Accident of Birth” без Смита. Да, воистину «старый конь лучше новой пони».

Robin Ericsson (vocals/bass) stated: “We’ve been writing songs for this album on and off since the release of We Don’t Belong in 2013. I think we had 16-17 songs that we chose from, and recorded 14. The funny thing is that we ended up putting all 14 songs on the album because they’re all so freakin’ good! This album is different from the previous two because we produced it ourselves this time, and Mats engineered, mixed and mastered it. Someone once said that we don’t sound like any other band. He described our sound as the “Degreed sound“, and if there’s such a sound, this is it! This is Degreed all the way…”

Варг доказал всему металическому миру, что при минимальном наборе аппаратуры и при невысокой технике игры на инструментах можно действительно создавать шедевры. Хотя, возможно это удалось только ему, потому что я больше нигде не слышал хотя бы даже приближенное звучание к стилю Варга. Несомненно, подобные ощущения создают ещё и за счёт вокала Графа, надрывной крик, который издаёт человек в предсмертных муках, это как говорят «Крик Души». И, конечно же, сама музыка. Варг говорил об этой своей работе так: «Тут я не просто играл на инструментах, я играл музыку», но я скажу, что это больше, чем просто музыка, это целая философия, мрачная, по своей сути ужасная, мизантропичная, но манящая к себе, словно волшебный источник, напившись из которого, человек придёт в состояние гармонии с самим собой и со своей природой.
