Immediately drawing comparisons to similarly black metal-based and Dark Ages-fascinated acts such as England's Bal-Sagoth and Austria's Summoning, Dagorlad released a second, more ambitious album entitled The End of the Dark Ages in 2002 -- by which time Gandibleu was working with a new vocalist named Frederic Mercier.

This is an extremely cool set, unfortunately marred by substantial noise and distortion on several of the bonus tracks. Tracks A1-B2 are from the legendary Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club show on January 31st, 1995, where Dream Theater played covers exclusively. Some of these tracks (plus additional studio seasonings) made it to the Change Of Seasons EP, so it's cool to compare and see what was taken out or overdubbed. On the second disc, you get, among other things, the Abbey Road medley and O Holy Night ("The Night") with Charlie Dominici, Don't Look Past Me ("Past [Into The Sun]") with John Hendricks, an acoustic version of To Live Forever possibly from James LaBrie's audition period for the band in 1990, and three Petrucci solo pieces, Indulge In Reverie, A Late Summer's Rain, and Schizophrenia. Some of the bonus tracks can be found in better quality on the When Dream And Day Unite Demos, and Subconcious, which has the acoustic version of To Live Forever (simply titled "Forever").

Now that Ms Springfield, the most important British female vocalist of the pop era, has passed away, completism sets in. You must have everything, and you must have everything on every single format, on each compilation, from any place in the world. Here comes Blue For You, a compilation from Australia that puts together some helpful bits and bobs for the obsessive fan. Not all-encompassing, this collection does have it's strong points--although it misses out on her debut solo single "I Only Want To Be With You", it includes her incredible reading of the Burt Bacharach classic "I Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself", and, interestingly, the B-side to that single--"My Colouring Book". The collection leaps around the years--at one point landing in 1970 for her duet with Tom Springfield, "Morning Please Don't Come"--but if you want to have everything, you can excuse the erratic nature to hear some immaculate vocal talent. -- Charlie Porter

The album was re-released in the United States in November 1982. It earned a Gold disc on 1 March 1983, and went Platinum on 26 April 1983, eventually reaching Double Platinum status. It peaked at number six on the Billboard 200 album chart in the US on 12 March 1983, and remained on the chart for 129 weeks.

Notorious is the fourth studio album by the English new wave/synthpop band Duran Duran. Released in November 1986, it peaked at #16 in the UK and #12 in the US. Produced by the band with Nile Rodgers, the album showcased a new musical direction for the band, emphasizing bass and brass as exemplified by the singles "Notorious" and "Skin Trade".
In 2010, EMI released a raft of material surrounding the Notorious reissue consisting of a three disc boxset, a digital only EP, and a digital only live album. The boxset also includes remixes, live tracks and the Working for the Skin Trade live video (for the first time on DVD).

Science Agrees is the only studio album by American-English-Irish band D.A.R.K. It was released on September 9, 2016 through Cooking Vinyl.
The band featured New York City-based DJ Olé Koretsky, Irish vocalist Dolores O'Riordan (of The Cranberries), and English bassist Andy Rourke (of The Smiths).
This was O'Riordan's final project released prior to her death in 2018.

Machine II Machine is the fifth studio album by the German female hard rock singer Doro Pesch. The album was released in March 1995 and mixed by Kevin Shirley and Greg Smith. It is the more mainstream oriented album of the German singer to date, thanks to the production of Jack Ponti (Bon Jovi, Alice Cooper, Baton Rouge) and the collaboration of musicians and authors coming from pop, country and even Latin music. The lyrics break new ground for Doro, as many of the songs deal with erotic themes. The last track is a remix done by members of the German industrial metal band Die Krupps, who worked with Doro in her next albums. The limited edition of the album contains the bonus track "Tie Me Up (Hard & Fast mix)".

Fight is the first Doro album since Force Majeure to be produced with a strong contribution from the members of the band that accompanied the German singer on her tours. Nick Douglas, Joe Taylor and Johnny Dee had toured with Doro for more than ten years, while Oliver Palotai replaced Mario Parillo after his demise in 2001.

Building the Perfect Beast is the second solo studio album by Don Henley. The album was released on November 19, 1984 on the Geffen label. A commercial and critical success, it is generally regarded as the culmination of the smoother, more adult-oriented sound of Henley's solo work.
For the album, Henley collaborated with members of the then line-up of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, who contributed to the writing of the songs: guitarist Mike Campbell, keyboardist Benmont Tench and drummer Stan Lynch, the last of which would later collaborate with Henley in composing the Eagles' song "Learn to Be Still", which was released on their live album Hell Freezes Over. The album also features contributions from Fleetwood Mac's guitarist, Lindsey Buckingham, The Go-Go's lead vocalist Belinda Carlisle, and features contributions from Randy Newman, Jim Keltner, Waddy Wachtel, Pino Palladino, Steve Porcaro, and Ian Wallace.

Ultimate Dolly Parton is a compilation album by American country music artist Dolly Parton. It was released by RCA Records on June 3, 2003. The album peaked at number 20 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart.

...And Then There Was X is the third studio album by American rapper DMX. The album was released on December 21, 1999, by Ruff Ryders Entertainment and Def Jam Recordings. In 2000, it was certified 4× Platinum and then later 5× Platinum. The album was nominated for Best Rap Album at the 2001 Grammys.

Strange Highways is the sixth studio album by American heavy metal band Dio. It's also their first album since Ronnie James Dio and Vinny Appice's reunion tour with Black Sabbath. The European release was on Vertigo, in October 1993; the U.S. release was on Reprise Records, in January 1994.
After the short-lived reunion with Black Sabbath for the recording of the album Dehumanizer (1992) and the subsequent tour, Dio and Appice returned to Dio's solo group, hiring Tracy Grijalva as new guitarist. Former Dio bassist Jimmy Bain was to make a return to the band, but he was soon sacked by Dio and replaced by Jeff Pilson. It is considered Dio's heaviest and darkest album.
