Брррутал!!! Шумовые террористы опять сменили стиль. На этот раз от грайндкора практически не осталось и следа. Чистый дэт. Причем, очень скоростной - гораздо быстрее, чем все, что они когда-либо играли - и достаточно техничный (на уровне Sinister, на которых, кстати, в этом альбоме они очень похожи). Все это объясняется сменой состава - новый гроул-вокалист, новый барабанщик (просто зверь!) и новый гитарист (из Cradle of Filth). Самое интересное, что при всей брутальности в этом альбоме присутствуют легко воспринимаемые МЕЛОДИИ (так что, это уже не шумовой, а мелодичный террор). Слушайте - не пожалеете.

Дебют тогда ещё совсем юных любителей природы. Музыкальная концепция – меланхоличный фолк, замешанный на думовой основе. Вокалов два – чистый и скрим. Надо сказать, что вокал – единственный камень преткновения. Распевистый отличается некоторой гнусавостью (отдаленно напоминает Vintersorg), а блековый – суховатостью и недостатком эмоциональности. Бытует расхожее мнение, что скрим на этом альбоме лишний и что он выбивается из общей канвы альбома и уродует музыку. Позволю себе не согласится. Верещание идет вразрез кажущейся идиллии, но в этом и есть соль. Оно лишь подчеркивает тщету человеческих криков на фоне непоколебимости и вечности природы. Альбом отличает обширная музыкальная палитра и хорошее исполнение. Философская подоплека альбома – величие природы, причем с мишурными лозунгами «зеленых» не имеет ничего общего. Ближайший аналог – ранний In the Woods..., однако Эмпириум – очень самобытный и привлекательный продукт.

Третий полноформатный альбом бельгийских блэкушников Enthroned показал развитие группы. Мощнейшие гитарные риффы, безумный вокал, выкрикивающий всякие заклинания и проклятия, очень скоростная ритм-секция - присутствует все необходимое такому агрессивному жанру, как блэк метал. В отличие от холодноватой атмосферы норвежского блэка, здесь имеется почти ощущаемый жар адского пекла, исходящий от музыки. Такого встретишь далеко не у каждой группы, играющей в данном стиле. Если говорить о каких-либо аналогиях в блэке, то близко по стилю исполнения будут, наверное, голландцы Unlord, хотя у Enthroned музыка несколько более прямолинейна.

Ekseption was a Dutch rock band active from 1967 to 1989, playing mostly-instrumental progressive rock and classical rock. The central character in the changing roster, and the only band member present on every album, was conservatory-trained trumpeter Rein van den Broek (10 September 1945 - 11 May 2015). The band saw some commercial success in the 1970s, having Dutch top ten hit singles with their adaptations of Beethoven's "Fifth" and Bach's (Celebrated) "Air". The second album, Beggar Julia's Time Trip (1969), won the Dutch Edison Award for album of the year, and the first five albums all went gold.

Eddi Reader is the second studio album by Eddi Reader released in the United Kingdom on 20 June 1994.
The album was recorded in America with producer Greg Penny (k.d. lang’s producer on Ingenue), and was the first to feature songs written and co-written with future regular cohort Boo Hewerdine. It also featured four songs written by ex Fairground Attraction member Mark Nevin.

Вообще, музыка заметно отошла от своих блэковых корней и, возможно, начала полный приключений и опасностей путь к готик- дэту. Трушники будут в ярости, да и ну их в баню! По- моему, просто супер. В смысле оценки позволю себе проявить некоторый субъективизм- хотя «шедевром на все времена» альбом можно назвать с большой натяжкой, однако осмелюсь поставить этой пластинке максимальный балл- уж больно музыка хороша.
