Забавное свойство «Paragon of Dissonance» в том, что он, на первый взгляд, нетипичен для творчества Esoteric, но в то же время соответствует вектору развития команды едва ли не с 1999 года. Необычно применять к альбому этих ребят эпитеты вроде «романтичный» и «мелодичный», но корифеи экспериментального дума на этой работе использовали такую массу фишек менее жёстких стилей, что по меркам Esoteric альбом вышел очень лёгким и доступным. Металл-основа на этот раз представлена скорее death-doom, чем funeral doom, местами музыка откровенно драйвовая, а иногда бессовестно зажигательная! Взрывов дэт-психопатии не найти днём с огнём, ультратяжёлых риффов минимум, прижимающий к стенам дроун окончательно оставлен на той стороне – видимо, так сказался уход третьего гитариста. Зато получите массу красивейших соло, исполненных самых разных эмоций (совсем не обязательно негативных!), разнообразие рисунков барабанов, фортепианные аранжировки и долгие проигрыши то в духе современного пост-рока, то в духе старого психоделического.

Cuori agitati (Troubled Hearts) is the debut album by Italian pop/rock singer Eros Ramazzotti, produced by Piero Cassano and released in 1985 on the BMG label.
Ramazzotti had won the 'New Voices' category in the 1984 Sanremo Music Festival with the song "Terra promessa", which went on to peak at number 2 on the Italian Singles Chart and is included here. At the 1985 Sanremo Festival, Ramazzotti entered the main competition with "Una storia importante", which placed sixth but subsequently topped the Italian chart and also reached number 2 in France. Cuori agitati made number 10 on the Italian Albums chart.

Four years after the issue of his last studio album and two years after his (best of) compilation album, Eros circulates his new studio album with the title "Ali e radici", which consists of eleven songs. His new album is available in a standard edition as well as in a deluxe edition (the latter includes 64-page booklet of photographs). Eros is the producer of the album with Claudio Guidetti. Michele Canova (who is Tiziano Ferro and Giusy Ferreri's producer) is the co-producer of the six songs of the album. Неинтересных вещей здесь практически нет, каждая композиция обладает своей оригинальной темой. Но все же на первых порах можно выделить наиболее интересные: это "Another Awful Hobs Tale" с ее задорной мелодией, "Ask A Silly Question" с интересным припевом, шедевральный и сносящий крышу "Not My Final Song", "Miss Conception" и, кончено же, "The Winter Wake" в акустической обработке, свежий взляд на хит прошлых лет.В итоге что мы получили этой холодной зимой от Elvenking? Задорный и бодрый фолк-метал (причем даже больше фолк, чем метал), который точно не оставит равнодушным поклонников этого жанра. Обязателен к прослушиванию!

Это широким массам модных «меломанов» датский гитарист шведского происхождения Хенрик Флиман известен как музыкант тур-состава готических титанов Lacrimosa. Люди же более традиционных вкусов знают Хенрика как в известном смысле композитора-монументалиста. Причем музыкант не то что эволюционировал в этом направлении, а всегда был таким, начиная с дебютного EP «Face The Light» (1992) своей первой мнимо сатанинской и ещё шведской группы Moahni Moahna, исполнявшей величественный театрализованный хард-рок в духе раннего творчества Rainbow. Работа с группами Zool и Wuthering Heights, а последние 13 лет с собственной группой (или всё же проектом?) Evil Masquerade – это этапы большого и прямого пути, сворачивать с которого Хенрик не намерен: вероятно, как и 20 с лишним лет назад, он видит себя создателем новой формы хард-рока, напрямую смыкающейся с оперой и классической музыкой вообще.

Из изящно и тонко страдающих по ушедшей несчастной любви романтиков, Entwine превратилась в заурядных нытиков, тем самым сделав большой шаг назад. Лишь «Greed of Mankind» действительно хороша и напоминает о лучших годах группы, да неплоха попытка изобразить Muse в «Caught by Desire» – в остальном на альбоме ловить нечего. Жаль, от этих ребят мы все были вправе ждать куда лучшего результата, остается лишь надеяться, что этот альбом будет знаменовать переходный период для коллектива, и уже на следующем альбоме к нам, пусть и в новой оболочке, но вернется тот самый Entwine, который все любят.

Третий полноформатник этой пауэр-прогрессив группы. Хотя, это раньше они так назывались. Сейчас я бы назвал это просто прогрессивом или new age progressive.Ребята повзрослели, мастерства поприбавилось, но одаренности не убавилось.Хотя по сравнению с предыдущим диском 'S-D-T' кардинально ничего не поменялось.На первый трек "The Masterplan" был снят клип. Тексты альбома тоже очень красивые и осмысленные - так что Том проявил еще один свой талант. Я слежу за деятельностью группы с момента выхода еще первого диска "The Dark Discovery", и надо сказать, что проделали они большую работу - начисто вылизав технику игры. А хитовые мелодии, интересные проигрыши и аранжировки у них были всегда. Стабильно, качественно, стильно. Что еще надо для успеха?

Alone in the Universe is the thirteenth studio album by British rock band Electric Light Orchestra (ELO), and the first credited to Jeff Lynne's ELO. The moniker came out from Lynne as a response to ELO tribute and imitation bands, who repeatedly used ELO for promoting their own tours. Released on 13 November 2015, the album is the first of new original material credited to the group since Zoom in 2001, and the second since the original group's disbandment in 1986. The album was met with generally favourable reviews, peaking at number two on the Billboard Top Rock Albums and number four on the UK Albums Chart, where it has been certified Platinum.
