Fleetwood Mac are a British-American rock band, formed in London in 1967. Fleetwood Mac were founded by guitarist Peter Green, drummer Mick Fleetwood and guitarist Jeremy Spencer, before bassist John McVie joined the line-up for their self-titled debut album. Danny Kirwan joined as a third guitarist in 1968. Keyboardist and vocalist Christine Perfect, who contributed as a session musician from the second album, married McVie and joined in 1970.

Всё типично и характерно для американских бруталеров. Правда вокал такой встретишь чаще в грайнде, чем в дэте. Хотя музыканты и играют технично, тем не менее, музыка от этого интереснее не становится. Да, конечно же песни записаны и сыграны довольно профессионально, качественно, однако без таланта и опыта сделать альбом гениальнейшим трудновато. Хотя талант определённо у музыкантов есть, это сразу заметно, только здесь сформировывались какие-то зачатки музыки, которые на следующем альбоме были развиты до полагающего им состояния.

Английская группа со странным названием «Поля нефилимов» образовалась в 1984 г. Нефилимы – это дети ангелов от земных женщин, упоминаемые в начале 6-й главы книги Бытия. «Бритва рассвета» является их дебютным альбомом, и здесь прекрасно видно, что группа пытается найти свое лицо. Нельзя сказать, что это первый блин комом, однако все же он оставляет желать лучшего. Выделяется прежде всего весьма специфичный вокал Карла Маккоя – довольно низкий и грубоватый, да к тому же еще и сдавленный; короче говоря, не всем может понравиться. Если считать, что в творчестве The Sisters of Mercy, другой готической команды того же времени, слышится романтика викторианства, то здесь мы можем представить себе Дикий Запад с ковбоями, которых постоянно разыскивает закон, тем более что и одевались ребята соответствующим образом.

На втором альбоме FW мы уже видим движение от прямолинейного металла а-ля Iron Maiden в сторону более комплексных структур. То есть, это по-прежнему NWOBHM, но уже с элементами, которые впоследствии назовут определяющими для стиля прогрессив-металл - смены темпа, сложный ритмический рисунок, нестандартные мелодические решения. Композиции продолжительны и в рамках стиля довольно изобретательны.Подлинное украшение альбома - стихи и вокал Джона Арча - порой его мастерство владения голосом просто поражает.Ремастированный звук очень хорош и ничем не напоминает, что альбом был записан в далеком 1985 году чуть ли не на собственные средства музыкантов.

Тяжело выжить трэшерам в нынешнее время. Эти ребята сохранились до сих пор, хотя статус группы неизвестен на данный момент. Начало 90-х ознаменовалось у них потерей менеджера, студии, короче....всего. Группа которая разогревала почти всех популярных америкосов как-то пробилась, но и только. Неплохая работа, но уже на последнем издыхании и поганым саундом. Кризис жанра заметно сказался на творчестве, хотя...мастерство не пропьешь. Не лучшая работа их...и мне немного больно такое слышать....когда люди начинают разочаровываться в жизни. Диск рекомендую иметь в коллекции.

"Hurt Yourself And The Ones You Love" встречает неприветливой сыростью гитар, обилием диссонансов и вполне блэковым бластом. Неужели возвращение к стилистике первых альбомов? Первое впечатление оказывается обманчивым. По мере прослушивания альбома все явственнее становится увлечение фронтмена коллектива таким жанром, как стоунер. Это касается как общего звучания диска, так и построения композиций, где гитарный кач все чаще отодвигает на задний план тремоло и мелодичные переливы.

En 1977, Bob Welch enregistre une nouvelle version de la chanson Sentimental Lady pour son premier album solo, French Kiss. Bare Trees is the sixth studio album by British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac, released in March 1972. It was their last album to feature Danny Kirwan, who was fired during the album's supporting tour. In the wake of the band's success in the mid-1970s, Bare Trees peaked at number 70 on US Billboard 200 chart. The album was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in 1988.
Mick Fleetwood was particularly impressed with Kirwan's contributions to the album. "Danny had the chops with layering techniques, and the ability to know what's right and wrong in the studio," he said.

Tusk is the twelfth studio album by British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac, released as a double album on 12 October 1979. It is considered more experimental than their previous albums: partly a consequence of Lindsey Buckingham's sparser songwriting arrangements and the influence of post-punk. The production costs were estimated to be over $1 million (equivalent to $3.57 million in 2020), making it the most expensive rock album recorded to that date.
The band embarked on a nine-month tour to promote Tusk. They travelled extensively across the world, including the U.S., Australia, New Zealand, Japan, France, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, and the UK. In Germany, they shared the bill with Bob Marley. On this world tour, the band recorded music for the Fleetwood Mac Live album released in 1980.

Time is the 16th studio album by British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac, released on 10 October 1995. This album features a unique line-up for the band featuring the addition of former Traffic guitarist Dave Mason and country vocalist Bekka Bramlett (daughter of Delaney and Bonnie). Lindsey Buckingham, who had left Fleetwood Mac in 1987, makes an appearance as a backing vocalist on one track, but Time is the only Fleetwood Mac album since 1974's Heroes Are Hard to Find not to feature any contribution from Stevie Nicks.
The album received unfavorable reviews from critics and was a commercial disappointment, failing to chart in the US and peaking at number 47 in the UK.

Then Play On is the third studio album by the British blues rock band Fleetwood Mac, released on 19 September 1969. It was the first of their original albums to feature Danny Kirwan (although he is also listed on two tracks on the earlier compilation The Pious Bird of Good Omen) and the last with Peter Green. Jeremy Spencer did not feature on the album apart from "a couple of piano things" (according to Mick Fleetwood in Q magazine in 1990). The album offered a broader stylistic range than the classic blues of the group's first two albums. The album went on to reach No. 6 on the UK Albums Chart, subsequently becoming the band's fourth Top 20 hit in a row, as well as their third album to reach the Top 10. The album's title, Then Play On, is taken from the opening line of William Shakespeare's play Twelfth Night — "If music be the food of love, play on".

Say You Will is the 17th studio album by British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac, released on 15 April 2003. It followed 1995's Time and was their first album without vocalist/keyboardist Christine McVie, who had left the band in 1998 (although she made some brief appearances on it). Lindsey Buckingham took over primary keyboard duties for the album and Stevie Nicks added some limited additional keyboard parts.
The album would also be the band's final album with Buckingham, who was told to leave Fleetwood Mac in 2018, although he would participate in their online-only release, 2013's Extended Play.
