John Illsley (John Illsley; June 24, 1949, Leicester, England) - English musician, famous as the bass player has achieved the worldwide success of the group Dire Straits. Illsley was one of the founders of Dire Straits and had a significant influence on the formation of their musical style. By the time the group disbanded in 1995, he was the only original members in addition to the permanent group leader Mark Knopfler.

Walking into Clarksdale is the only studio album by Jimmy Page and Robert Plant, both formerly of English rock band Led Zeppelin. It was released by Atlantic Records on 21 April 1998. Walking into Clarksdale took 35 days to record. The album was recorded and mixed by Steve Albini over a five-month period at Abbey Road Studios. The single "Most High" was awarded a Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance in 1999.

Justified is the debut studio album by American singer-songwriter Justin Timberlake. It was released on November 5, 2002, by Jive Records. The album was written and recorded in a six-week period, during the hiatus of the singer's band 'N Sync. For the album, Timberlake tried to adopt a more mature image as an R&B artist opposed to the previous pop music recorded by the group. Most of the album was produced by The Neptunes, with additional collaborators including Brian McKnight, Scott Storch, Timbaland, and The Underdogs. The album features guest appearances by Janet Jackson and rap duo Clipse. Primarily an R&B album, Justified also contains influences of dance-pop, funk and soul music.

Point of Entry is the seventh album from the British heavy metal band Judas Priest. It was released on 26 February 1981.
In 1980 Judas Priest garnered some airplay with "Breaking the Law" and "Living After Midnight" from their album British Steel. As a result the band pursued a more melodic, radio friendly direction on Point of Entry. However, the demo version of "On the Run" was not so radio friendly. It had "different lyrics, speed-metal pace, and spit-fire fast vocals."

British Steel saw the band reprise the commercial sound they had established on Killing Machine. This time, they abandoned some of the dark lyrical themes which had been prominent on their previous releases, but some of it still remains. British Steel was recorded at Tittenhurst Park, home of former Beatle Ringo Starr, a recording studio located on Tittenhurst's grounds, after a false start at Startling Studios in December 1979. Digital sampling was not yet widely available at the time of recording, so the band used analog recording of smashing milk bottles to be included in "Breaking the Law", as well as various sounds in "Metal Gods" produced by billiard cues and trays of cutlery.

Jon Secada is the self-titled English-language debut album by pop singer Jon Secada, released in 1992. It sold six million copies worldwide and was certified 3x Platinum by the RIAA. The album peaked at #15 on the Billboard 200 album chart in March 1993. It features four singles that reached the Top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100 and the Top 10 on Billboard's Adult Contemporary chart. Queen of Denmark is the debut solo album by former The Czars frontman John Grant, released on April 19, 2010 on the Bella Union label. Queen of Denmark is a collaboration between Grant and American folk rock band Midlake and produced by Grant himself in collaboration with Midlake members Paul Alexander and Eric Pulido. It was recorded over two four-months periods, July to October 2008 and May to July 2009, in Midlake's recording studio in Denton, Texas.

Another Side is an album released on 12 November 2007 by John Barrowman under the Sony BMG label. The album is composed entirely of chosen cover songs. Speaking of his decision to release his solo album, Barrowman stated that it wasn't about launching a pop career, but about giving people a chance to see "Another Side" to him as an entertainer. The album reached number 22 on the UK Album Charts and was certified gold on 11 January 2008; Barrowman was subsequently presented with a 'Gold Disc' to acknowledge this on The Alan Titchmarsh Show in February of that year.
