Norwegian Rock Stars, singer Jorn Lande and guitarist Trond Holter (aka Teeny of WIG WAM), have created a new Rock Opera concept album about the life of Count Vlad the III, Prince of Wallachia, widely known as Vlad, The Impaler or by his patronymic name Vlad Dracul(a). The whole story explores the inner struggle inside the multifaceted and engorging character that this mysterious 15th Century personality was, while also taking into account some of the metaphysical aspects that passed into literature, forming the whole basis of the vampire mythos.

Justin Hayward, the legendary lead singer, guitarist and songwriter for The Moody Blues, recently embarked on a series of solo concerts across the United States. His rich vocals and incredible guitar playing served to highlight classic Moody Blues tunes plus songs from his latest solo album Spirits of the Western Sky.

James Taylor at Christmas is a Christmas album by singer/songwriter James Taylor, released by Columbia Records in 2006. It was his last release for Columbia since signing with them back in 1977.
The album is essentially a reissue (with a new title and slightly altered track listing) of James Taylor: A Christmas Album, a limited edition title distributed by Hallmark Cards in 2004. "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas", originally issued on Taylor's October Road in 2002, and "River" were not included on the original Hallmark release. Additionally, the original album featured a version of "Deck the Halls" which is not on the standard Columbia CD. (The Barnes & Noble chain has, however, issued a version of the new title with "Deck the Halls" included as a bonus track).

Night Calls is the thirteenth studio album by Joe Cocker, released on 7 October 1991. There were three different editions of the album released in 1991 and 1992. All of them featured different selection of songs, also in different order and cover artwork was also different for each of them. In addition a DTS edition of the album was released in the UK in 1998, also with different selection of songs.

Jerusalem was formed in the early 70's and released in 1972 a self-titled album on the infamous Deram label which was produced by Ian Gillan. They gigged all over Europe supporting Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Uriah Heep and Status Quo before disbanding due to "musical differences". The band reformed again in 2008 releasing their second album "Escalator" to much acclaim.
Now for their third album with original members Lynden Williams and Bob Cooke they are joined by the cream of the Prog Rock crop Geoff Downes (ASIA,YES) and Nick D'Virgilio (Tears For Fears, Spocks Beard) and they have produced a stunning brand new Prog Rock album.

Larsen is a Norwegian string swing guitar virtuoso, and not the one we would suspect to record music inspired by Frank Zappa. This production is noteworthy for the way it accurately resembles the more jazzy excursions of Zappa, as well as for the fact that former Mothers of Invention members Tommy Mars, Bruce Fowler, Arthur Barrow and Jimmy Carl Black appear on it. In fact Barrow engineered the recording and Mars plays keyboards throughout, with Fowler adding some delicious trombone.

It takes a few spins to understand, and it is one of this prolific singer's many, many recordings, but when you spend some quality time with You Know Me, it starts unraveling its secrets in ways that only a truly great recording can. "Any Heart" is pure power, with the band weaving textures around Jackie DeShannon's distinctive vocal, the guitar relentless as it sustains the wall of sound. A true labor of love, few artists can produce a song this strong, and the fact that it follows three equally powerful compositions is evidence of the majesty that sweeps across all 14 tracks.

Materiał muzyczny zawarty na płycie to mikstura egzotycznych dźwięków, kosmicznych klimatów, efektów oraz solówek gitarowych spiętych w trwającą ponad 55 minut suitę. Autor mówi: Pierwsze nuty z tej płyty narodziły się w mojej głowie dwa lata temu. Moim zamysłem było skomponowanie muzyki filmowej jednak im dłużej nad nią pracowałem tym bardziej przybierała ona układ "songów" łączących się w jeden spójny tematycznie projekt, który dojrzewał do formy krążka CD. "Ego, Georgius" to bardzo osobista płyta. Wyraz mojego eskapizmu. Uciekam przez ludźmi, religią, polityką, ideologią, zakłamaniem i "hejtem". Uciekam w siebie i w świat dźwięków grających w mojej duszy.
