Материал для нового полноформатника записывался в норвежских городах Берген и Хемседал. Запись барабанов проходила на студии Abyss/Blacklodge под руководством Йонаса Кьеллгрена (сооснователя группы Scar Symmetry), который также занимался миксингом альбома.Вокал записывал продюсер Стамос Колиоусис на Waterfall studio в Осло. Всю остальную работу над пластинкой, включая продюсирование, выполнил гитарист и клавишник Оле Хартвигсен. Как и предыдущий альбом Kampfar "Djevelmakt", при оформлении "Profan" музыканты обратились к творчеству польского художника и фотографа Здзислав Бексиньского.

2011 год был гиперпродуктивным для группы. Помимо "Elämä On Kuoleva Huora" было выпущено ещё два демо-альбома: "Tekopyhyyttä Pyhässä Temppelissä" и "III". Кроме того, была записана часть материала к дебютному альбому под названием "Kuolonsäkeet", который был закончен уже в первые же месяцы 2012 года. Российский лейбл Kunsthauch выразил заинтересованность в издании материала, но из-за некоторых трудностей и накладок альбом увидел свет лишь 20 мая 2013 года. 1 сентября 2012 года все демо-альбомы были переизданы этой же компанией в виде компиляции. Было выпущено 50 копий. На песню "Oman Käden Teuras" был снят клип.

Kingdom Come es el álbum de debut de la banda Kingdom Come. Este álbum obtuvo bastante atención por escucharse muy similar a Led Zeppelin. El éxito del disco tuvo su base en un evento muy afortunado. El disco fue producido por Bob Rock (mejor conocido por su trabajo con Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Lover Boy y Metallica). Al terminar la grabación, volaron a Nueva York para hacer la mezcla en los estudios Electric Lady, que fueran propiedad de Jimi Hendrix. Durante la sesión de mezcla de "Get It On", John Kalodner, una leyenda del negocio de la música, pasó por ahí para saludar. Le gustó la canción y preguntó si podía llevarse un casete. De una u otra manera, la cinta terminó en una estación de radio en Detroit, donde tocaban la canción sin el conocimiento de la banda o de la disquera. Parecería increíble pero otras estacionas grabaron el tema de la transmisión "al aire", ya que aún no salía a la venta el disco. La revista "Album Network" hizo un reportaje sobre una misteriosa banda que mantenía ocupadas las líneas telefónicas de las estaciones de radio de Detroit. De pronto, unas semanas después, todas las estaciones de rock de las Estados Unidos estaban tocando "Get It On". Kingdom Come ganó disco de oro antes de que la disquera o la banda discutieran sobre cuál sería su primer sencillo.

"Creatures Of The Night" может торжественно называться первой хэви металлической работой Kiss. Ну, конечно, полноценного тяжеляка здесь нет, но новомодного глэма - хоть отбавляй! В этом направлении группа будет работать весь следующий десяток лет, а данный альбом стал пробным шаром, угодившим точно в лузу! Как я уже говорил выше, саунд намеренно сделан "грязным" и глухим, что мгновенно увеличивает убойную мощь коллектива. Ну а сам материал чертовски хорош! Мрачные и тяжелые композиции Джина Симмонса лежат на одной чаше весов - среди них особо выделятся агрессивная и злая "War Machine" и, конечно же, чуть ли не главный хит всех "неклассических" альбомов Kiss - стадионный гимн "I Love It Loud". В закромах у Пола Стэнли более мягкие и коммерческие номера, тут стоит отметить потрясающую по скорости и энергетике заглавную вещь, мелодичный боевик "Danger", и "I Still Love You", одну из самых романтически-прекрасных баллад которую я когда либо слышал.
