K is the debut album by Kula Shaker, released on 16 September 1996. When it was released, it became the fastest selling debut album in Britain since Elastica's debut the previous year. The album reached the #1 position in the UK charts, however in America it stalled at #200 in the Billboard charts.

Mother is the only album of British band Kubb. It was released on 14 November 2005 in the UK on the Mercury Records label. It reached a peak of 26 the week of 13 February 2006. The album was never released in the US, although some versions have surfaced stateside (these versions removed the track "Bitch", bringing the album down to 11 tracks).

Kingdom Come es el álbum de debut de la banda Kingdom Come. Este álbum obtuvo bastante atención por escucharse muy similar a Led Zeppelin. El éxito del disco tuvo su base en un evento muy afortunado. El disco fue producido por Bob Rock (mejor conocido por su trabajo con Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Lover Boy y Metallica). Al terminar la grabación, volaron a Nueva York para hacer la mezcla en los estudios Electric Lady, que fueran propiedad de Jimi Hendrix. Durante la sesión de mezcla de "Get It On", John Kalodner, una leyenda del negocio de la música, pasó por ahí para saludar. Le gustó la canción y preguntó si podía llevarse un casete. De una u otra manera, la cinta terminó en una estación de radio en Detroit, donde tocaban la canción sin el conocimiento de la banda o de la disquera. Parecería increíble pero otras estacionas grabaron el tema de la transmisión "al aire", ya que aún no salía a la venta el disco. La revista "Album Network" hizo un reportaje sobre una misteriosa banda que mantenía ocupadas las líneas telefónicas de las estaciones de radio de Detroit. De pronto, unas semanas después, todas las estaciones de rock de las Estados Unidos estaban tocando "Get It On". Breakaway is the second studio album by American pop singer Kelly Clarkson, released on November 30, 2004, by RCA Records. The album is a follow-up to her successful debut album, Thankful (2003). Executive produced by Clive Davis, Breakaway sees Clarkson collaborating with various producers and songwriters for the first time, primarily Dr. Luke, Max Martin, John Shanks, Kara DioGuardi, Ben Moody, and David Hodges; the latter two are former members of American rock band Evanescence. Despite the established commercial success of Thankful, music critics still continued to typecast Clarkson as an American Idol winner and were also critical of her attempts of establishing a commercial appeal on her own. Wanting to stray from those, she was convinced by Davis to work with Dr. Luke and Martin in Stockholm, and with Moody and Hodges in Los Angeles, in pursuit of a pop rock direction. This also led her to part ways with her manager Simon Fuller and hire the management services of Jeff Kwatinetz before the album's release. Breakaway is primarily a pop rock record with elements of rock and soul music, marking a departure from the R&B-oriented sound of Thankful; its lyrics explore themes of heartbreak, love, and escapism.

Kenneth Earl Burrell (born July 31, 1931) is an American jazz guitarist known for his work on the Blue Note label. His collaborations with Jimmy Smith produced the 1965 Billboard Top Twenty hit album Organ Grinder Swing. He has cited jazz guitarists Charlie Christian and Django Reinhardt as influences, along with blues guitarists T-Bone Walker and Muddy Waters.
Burrell is a professor and Director of Jazz Studies at the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music.

Under the Iron Sea is the second studio album by the English rock band Keane, released on 12 June 2006. During its first week on sale in the UK, the album went to #1, selling 222,297 copies according to figures from the Official Chart Company. In the United States, the album went to #4 on the Billboard 200, selling 75,000 copies in its first week there. Since 22 January 2006, the album has sold over 3,000,000 copies worldwide.
