Лита Форд (Кармелита Розанна Форд, р. 19 сентября 1958, Лондон) начала осваивать гитару, когда ей было всего 11 лет. Спустя два года она уже настолько хорошо владела инструментом, что запросто могла играть песни из репертуара Джими Хендрикса, "Deep purple" и "Black Sabbath". Свое боевое крещение Лита получила в рядах девчачьей банды "Runaways", просуществовавшей до 1979 года. После распада группы Форд почти исчезла со сцены и долгое время практически не играла. К счастью ей повстречался Эдди Ван Хален, который убедил гитаристку не зарывать свой талант в землю и начать сольную карьеру.

Claudius Afolabi Siffre (born 25 June 1945) is a British singer, songwriter, musician and poet. Siffre released six albums between 1970 and 1975, and four between 1988 and 1998. His best known compositions include "It Must Be Love" (which was famously covered by the band Madness), "Crying Laughing Loving Lying", and "(Something Inside) So Strong". His music has been sampled extensively by hip-hop artists, including Eminem, Jay-Z, and Kanye West. Siffre has published essays, the stage and TV play Deathwrite and three volumes of poetry: Nigger, Blood on the Page and Monument.

MARBLEBOG from Hungary released 3 full-length albums and a couple of split records with bands from Brazil, USA, Poland and of course Hungary. The music of MARBLEBOG changed quite a lot through the years, one can discover various soundscapes from the raw lo-fi black metal of the early years, to the hypnotic all-ambient album "Wind of Moors". During its 12-year existence the band played only one show in 2009 at Mathcitehew fest in Chicago, USA. Declared dead in 2010.

Last Autumn’s Dream have been regularly releasing records for a decade now. Amazing feat and even better that this – their 11th studio album is one of their best. The sound and style from these guys never varies much and I’m good with that. Songs is what counts, as the Scandi-AOR delivered by these guys is already on my list of favourites. The soulful, high-ish vocals of Mikael Erlandsson and the kick ass band featuring Jamie Borger – drums, Nalle Pahlsson – bass and Peter Söderström – guitars just know how to deliver a good song. Level Eleven features some of the strongest material in a while...

Здесь собраны лучшие вещи (и несколько редких, о чем любезно указано в трек-листинге) из периода, когда они делали electro, основанное на сочных синтезаторах и смачных танцевальных (или хотя бы активных) битах при минимальном участии гитар. Группа была основана в Австрии в 1996 году двумя друзьями — Томасом Райнером и Хансом Медвеничем. Скоро бывшая одноклассница Томаса, Соня Краусхофер, присоединилась к группе, и LAI заключили контракт со звукозаписывающей компанией. В целом, новый альбом Lacrimas Profundere – Bleeding the Stars получился заманчивым и достойным внимания. В нем группа обратилась к первоначальным корням – мрачной атмосфере дум-метала, сумев вдохнуть новую жизнь в свое стилистическое звучание. Это значительно отличает его от спорного предыдущего Hope Is Here. Несмотря на все изменения в составе Lacrimas Profundere сейчас в прекрасной форме и звучат также убедительно, как и раньше.

В феврале 2001-го вышел концертный CD "Damas y Caballeros, Los Straitjackets". Примерно в это же время "Los Straitjackets" довелось выступить вместе с легендами инструментального серфа "Ventures". Спустя несколько месяцев в продаже появился альбом "Sing Along with Los Straitjackets", записанный с участием ряда популярных вокалистов. Параллельно стартовал тур "The Los Straitjackets Rock & Roll Party", в котором был задействован певец Биг Сэнди и танцевальная труппа. В конце 2002-го коллектив выпустил рождественский сборник "Tis the Season for Los Straitjackets", а в августе 2003-го вышло совместное творение "Los Straitjackets" и Эдди Клиэуотера "Rock & Roll City". Кроме того, в 2003-м на свет появились еще два собственных альбома "LS": "Los Vivos y Los Raros" и "Supersonic Guitars in 3-D".

Немецкий ядреный и жесткий трэш с привкусом мелодичного дэта, эти ребята нарезают с удовольствием и честностью. Острые риффы, шквальная ритм-секция, зверский вокал и единственное, чего здесь не хватает, так это скоростных соляков, они есть, но в нескольких композициях, а для такой музыки быстрые соло партии гитар – необходимость.
