Прежде всего, необходимо сказать чистосердечное «спасибо» лейблу “Stygian Crypt” за переиздание такой работы. Если бы оное не произошло, я, наверное, так никогда и не услышал бы данное творение, в оригинале изданное на «хобгоблиновской» кассете в прошлом веке. И, пожалуй, потерял бы... ну, хоть и нельзя сказать, что самое ценное в жизни, но неиллюзорное удовольствие от знакомства с одним из весомых кирпичей отечественной дум-сцены уж точно. Воронежским музыкантам удалось со своим дебютником взять очень высокую по тем временам планку, которую, как мне кажется, не достигали ни Lake of Tears на первенце, ни ранние Cemetary с Pyogenesis'ом и прочими буржуйскими представителями около-думового мелодик-дэта, не говоря уж про родных “ментал хомов”.

Stain features a generally heavier sound with more pessimistic themes, the songs representing a range of genres. It reached No. 26 on the Billboard 200. Citing "musical differences" the band split up in January 1995. The cover art shows a woman wearing a brank.

Первый альбом итальянских пауэрщиков, на котором еще поет Фабио Лионе. Достаточно посредственный, хотя и качественный, материал. Вроде бы есть неплохие задумки, но они не доведены до ума. Однообразность "No Limits" разбавляют клавишные вставки, смотрящиеся иногда весьма интересно ("Vertigo"). Один хит все же здесь присутствует ("Piece Of Time"), остальное - неплохой, но серый пауэр.

Знакомство мое с этой группой началось с легендарного альбома «Thunder in the East». «Disillusion» же - первый англоязычный альбом японцев, так сказать, пробный шар. Здесь представлен хэви-метал английского образца, характеризующийся хрипловатым надрывным вокалом Минору Ниихары и виртуознейшими гитарными партиями Акиры Такасаки. Вообще, техника музыкантов и особенно гитариста можно назвать в числе сильных сторон сего творения.
