In 2000, the American Film Institute listed Some Like It Hot as the greatest American comedy film of all time.

Lest We Forget: The Best Of is the first greatest hits album by Marilyn Manson. A new song was recorded to promote the album, a cover of Depeche Mode's "Personal Jesus". The album was released at the end of September 2004.

Inner Worlds is an album by the Mahavishnu Orchestra. It was the group's sixth album release.
In 1975, violinist Jean-Luc Ponty and keyboardist Gayle Moran left the band. Stu Goldberg was brought in as a replacement for Moran. Although they were not officially recorded, initially this version of the group still retained Norma Jean Bell, Carol Shive, Phillip Hirschi, Russell Tubbs and Steve Kindler. After some hasty rehearsals, this line-up toured with Jeff Beck. After the tour, McLaughlin pared the band down to a quartet of himself, Goldberg, Walden and Armstrong, and then the album was recorded.

German based MAD MAX is celebrating their 25th anniversary with a new release “Here We Are”. Michael Voss lead vocalist has been a mainstay of the band as has guitarist Juergen Breforth along with Roland Bergmann and Mark Shulman. MAD MAX looks to concur once again with a driving CD filled with hooked choruses, sweet melodic sounds and classic guitar. Just hearing the title track “Here We Are” we hooked up with Juergen and had to congratulate these boys for such a promising career in music and still being a vibrant entity.

Mark Knopfler has the luxury of being selective about soundtrack work, and this is only his tenth film score in 17 years. It may be that he waits for films that can benefit from his approach, which is generally a lighter version of what he used to write and perform for Dire Straits and what he does on his solo albums. The soundtrack albums of his films usually are so closely identified with him that it's a dilemma where to shelve them in the record store, and this one is no exception; it is billed on the cover as "a Mark Knopfler soundtrack."
