Достаточно было одного прослушивания, чтобы сразу же бросилось в глаза, что альбом гораздо легче (и интересней) слушать, по сравнению с тремя предшественниками. Главная причина, я считаю, - (опять) новый состав. И что самое главное, отсутствие в этом составе Blasphemer'а. Пришедшие ему на смену Teloch и Ghul, безусловно, сыграли свою значимую роль в общей "слушабельности" лонгплея. Но не они тут правят балом, конечно. Троица главарей: с предводителем Аттилой; его правой рукой Necrobutcher'ом и, с его, кажется, бесчисленными руками, Hellhammer'ом. Они как раз и являются главными конструкторами каждой композиции.

Практически у каждой «солидной» группы есть хотя бы один нехарактерный альбом, стилистически совершенно не вписывающийся в ее основную дискографию. Примеров можно привести множество. В случае с Manilla Road своеобразной “black sheep of the family” стал альбом “The Circus Maximus”. Хотя к дискографии группы этот альбом можно отнести весьма условно. Дело в том, что лебединой песней классического состава Manilla Road стал замечательный релиз 1990 года “The Courts of Chaos”. Let's Get Ready is the fourth studio album by American rapper Mystikal, released on September 26, 2000. The album debuted at number 1 on the Billboard 200, selling 330,663 copies in its first week. Thriller is the sixth studio album by American singer Michael Jackson, released on November 30, 1982 by Epic Records. Reunited with Off the Wall producer Quincy Jones, Jackson was inspired to create an album where "every song was a killer". With the ongoing backlash against disco, Jackson moved in a new musical direction, incorporating pop, post-disco, rock and funk. Thriller foreshadows the contradictory themes of Jackson's personal life, as he began using a motif of paranoia and darker themes. The album features a single guest appearance, with Paul McCartney becoming the first artist to be featured on one of Jackson's albums. Recording took place from April to November 1982 at Westlake Recording Studios in Los Angeles, with a production budget of $750,000.

L'autre... is the third studio album by Mylène Farmer, released on 9 April 1991. It contains the singer's biggest hit, "Désenchantée", which was number-one in France for nine weeks, and other three top ten hits. The album was generally well received by the critics and was a great success in terms of chart and sales (#1 for twenty weeks), becoming the best-selling album throughout the singer's career and the twenty second best-selling album of all time in France.

Overexposed is the fourth studio album by American pop rock band Maroon 5. It was released on June 20, 2012, by A&M Octone Records. The album was recorded between 2011 and 2012 and was driven after the moderate success of their third album, Hands All Over (2010), and later by the enormous success of the re-released edition, which was promoted by the single "Moves Like Jagger", recorded as a collaboration with Christina Aguilera. It is the band's only album not to feature keyboardist, rhythm guitarist and background vocalist Jesse Carmichael, who took a temporary break from performing with the group to focus on his studies and was replaced by musician PJ Morton. The band worked with different producers, such as Max Martin, who serves as the album's executive producer, Ryan Tedder, Shellback and Benny Blanco. The band's guitarist and Levine's usual co-writer James Valentine, only has four credits on the album.

Holy Wood (In the Shadow of the Valley of Death) is the fourth studio album by American rock band Marilyn Manson. It was released on November 11, 2000, by Nothing and Interscope Records. A rock opera concept album, it is the final installment of a triptych that also included Antichrist Superstar (1996), and marked a return to the industrial metal style of the band's earlier work, after the glam rock-influenced production of Mechanical Animals (1998). After its release, the band's eponymous vocalist said that the overarching story within the trilogy is presented in reverse chronological order: Holy Wood, therefore, begins the narrative.

Antichrist Superstar is the second studio album by American rock band Marilyn Manson. It was released on October 8, 1996, by Nothing and Interscope Records. It was recorded at Nothing Studios in New Orleans and produced by the band's eponymous vocalist along with Sean Beavan, former Skinny Puppy producer Dave Ogilvie and Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails. The recording of the album was marred by excessive drug use, which provoked a high level of antagonism between band members. Consequently, it was their last release to feature contributions from founding guitarist Daisy Berkowitz, who was acrimoniously fired partway through recording.
