During the '90s, Marcus Füreder DJ'd in nightclubs, which led to production and label operation. Under the name Plasma, he released the 2001 album Shadow Kingdom on his Bushido label. A few years later, the Austrian first used the new and more lasting alias Parov Stelar, the name credited with an impressive quantity of recordings released during the 2000s and 2010s, primarily on his Etage Noir label. His "electro swing" sound, enhanced with clever sampling, proved to be popular in the compilation and DJ-mix market, including Stéphane Pompougnac's Hôtel Costes series. During the mid 2010s, Stelar took home several Amadeus Austrian Music Awards, including a trio of them in 2013 for Best Electronic Act, Best Live Act, and Best Album, the latter for The Princess. The Parov Stelar Trio and Parov Stelar Band continued to tour extensively and performed at festivals such as Glastonbury and Zurich OpenAir. Stelar linked with Island for 2013's The Art of Sampling, his second album to peak within the Top 10 of the Ö3 Austria Top 40 chart.

Marcus Füreder grew up in Linz and developed a passion for music and art at an early age. He began his career as a DJ in local clubs, performing under the pseudonym Plasma or his real name, drawing inspiration from jazz, soul, house and electronic music. These influences would later shape his distinctive musical style.

His musical style blends electronic music with elements of jazz, swing, and blues, characterized by a fusion of modern beats, vintage sounds, and distinctive brass sections. Many of his tracks have been used in films, commercials, and TV series, and remain in demand worldwide.

Marcus Füreder, better known by his stage name Parov Stelar, is an Austrian musician, producer, composer and DJ. He is considered a pioneer of electro swing and is one of the most internationally successful artists from Austria. In addition to his music, he is also known for his visual artwork, which has been shown in numerous galleries and exhibitions.

This CD is a combination of that work and their mutual concentration. No overdubs or time-slippage have been applied. The resultant music is a faithful document of one particular and appointed hour.

Второй музыкальный "глоток" причудливых и притягивающих образов от английской команды отметился замедлением грайндовых элементов до состояния их трансформации в однородно-вязкий материал. Звук приобрёл ещё большую гулкость по сравнению с первой работой, что только добавляет по-специфически неандертальского окраса композициям. Примечательны некие вылазки всё ещё агонизирующей ритм-секции из общего полотна в нецеленаправленном порыве. Альбом уже окончательно привёл команду к медитативно-шаманскому подходу, когда атмосфера превалирует над динамикой. Тем не менее, находится место для гибких техничных переливов гитары в связке с вдруг просыпающейся на время скоростной манерой ударника. Релиз убаюкивает и в тоже время настраивает на вдумчивое восприятие, тем более что присутствуют не шаблонно сотканные размеры.

Команда Primal Fear была создана в Германии Метом Синнером и Ральфом Шиперсом в 1997 г. и явлеется ярчайшим представителем современного Heavy Metal'а.
