Если бы у ребят не было больше альбомов кроме "Seven Seals" & "New Religion", то перед нами были бы сейчас бесспорные на сегодняшний день короли Power Metal. Я не хочу сказать, что остальные работы плохи, но до этих двух явно не дотягивают. Лично мне они видятся неразделимыми братьями, хотя далеко не близнецами. Эти альбомы показывают нам ВСЕ МНОГОЧИСЛЕННЫЕ грани таланта группы. Это Power с большой буквы, который как ему и положенно, охватывает и смежные стили, не теряя при этом своей сути и красоты.

В меру тяжело, зло и энергично. Но суть в том, что так можно сказать и о прошлых альбомах команды. Каких-то прорывов не услышал, ну, может, добавилось мелодичности, хотя откровенных хитов, от силы, пара, тройка. В целом, работу считаю удачной.

Pipes of Peace is the fourth solo studio album by the English singer-songwriter Paul McCartney. It was released on 31 October 1983. As the follow-up to the popular Tug of War, the album came close to matching the commercial success of its predecessor in Britain but peaked only at number 15 on America's Billboard Top LPs & Tape chart. While Pipes of Peace was the source of international hit singles such as "Say Say Say" (recorded with Michael Jackson) and the title track, the critical response to the album was less favourable than that afforded to Tug of War.

It was recorded by McCartney at his home studio in the summer of 1979, shortly before the dissolution of his band Wings in 1981.
