Немцы продолжают уверенно идти к своей цели. На этом альбоме это отчетливо видно. От альбома к альбому звучание их композиций становится напористей, хитовей и более запоминаемой. Релиз 1989 года порадовал еще более жесткой и мелодичной лид-секцией. Больше запоминаемых проигрышей и четких ритм-риффов. Стиль можно охарактеризовать, как полноценный speed-power без каких-либо нареканий. Вокал Пиви здесь еще в форме фальцета, но уже достаточно выразителен и разборчив. Можно сказать, что в вокальном плане заметен некоторый прогресс. Возможно, это связанно с улучшением качества записи - звук действительно стал плотнее и чище, чем раньше.

Слушать этот диск я начал почти сразу, как он вышел. Тогда он мне нравился просто безумно. По прошествии стольких лет я могу оглянуться назад и сказать, что альбом выдержал испытание временем, ибо сейчас я от него получаю удовольствие почти такое же, как и тогда. По моему мнению, это - лучший альбом у Рапсодии. Шедевр от начала и до конца - единственный идеально сбалансированный диск у них - симфоничность, помпезность, тяжесть, скорость и техника сочетаются здесь единственно возможным способом, порождая действительно великую вешь.

The Bends is the second studio album by the English alternative rock band Radiohead, released on 13 March 1995 by Parlophone Records internationally and by Capitol Records in the United States. The album was produced by John Leckie at EMI's studios in London, and engineered by Nigel Godrich, who would go on to produce all future albums by the band. The album also marked the beginning of a shift in aesthetics and themes for the band, with greater use of keyboards, and more abrasive guitar tracks balancing subtler ones. The introspective grunge-influenced style of their debut album Pablo Honey (1993) evolved into more multi-layered rock with cryptic lyrics and larger ideas, as the band and singer Thom Yorke reacted against the rigors of near-constant world tours.

Pablo Honey is the debut studio album by the English alternative rock band Radiohead, released in February 1993. The album was produced by Sean Slade and Paul Q. Kolderie and was recorded at Chipping Norton Recording Studios and Courtyard Studio, Oxfordshire from September to November 1992. It features three charting singles: "Anyone Can Play Guitar", "Stop Whispering", and perhaps the band's most well-known hit on mainstream radio, "Creep". Pablo Honey peaked at No. 22 in the United Kingdom charts and went platinum there and in other countries. The album title comes from a Jerky Boys prank call skit in which the prank caller says to his victim: "Pablo, honey? Please come to Florida!" This snippet is sampled by the band on the track "How Do You?".

Kid A is the fourth studio album by the English rock band Radiohead, released on 2 October 2000 by Parlophone Records and Capitol Records. The band's songwriter Thom Yorke envisioned a radical change in direction for the album after feeling burnt out from promoting the band's acclaimed 1997 album OK Computer. Incorporating influences from genres such as krautrock, jazz, 20th-century classical music and the electronic music of Warp artists, Radiohead replaced their guitars with synthesisers, drum machines, the ondes Martenot, string orchestras and brass instruments. They recorded Kid A with producer Nigel Godrich in Paris, Copenhagen, Gloucestershire and their hometown Oxford, England.

Funky Dory is the solo debut album by English pop–dance singer Rachel Stevens. It was released by Polydor Records on 29 September 2003 in the United Kingdom. The album was produced by various record producers including Bloodshy & Avant and Richard X.
It received a positive reception from music critics, some of whom complimented its surprising diversity, charm and relative depth, while others thought of it to be poorly written, produced and forgettable. Despite critical commentary, it became Stevens' most successful album release, and reached number nine in the United Kingdom, where it was certified gold. On 16 July 2004 the album was re-issued in the United Kingdom, including three new songs, and reached number thirteen on the albums chart. Funky Dory was released in Canada on 16 March 2004; however, it failed to generate much interest outside of the United Kingdom.

В целом, альбом получился в духе предшественника, но произошли и некоторые изменения: песни стали медленнее и длиннее, чуть мягче и разнообразнее. В некоторых фрагментах стали использоваться звуковые эффекты. Именно из-за недостатка скорости диск немного послабее "Reign Of Fear". В остальном остаются самые положительные впечатления. Очень хорошее завершение первого периода Rage, который я считаю лучшим.

Второй альбом датчан держится абсолютно на тех же позициях, что и вышедший годом ранее дебютник («Land оf Broken Hearts» 1992). Никаких изменений мной не было замечено. И по стилю, и по звуку эти альбомы – братья-близнецы. И столь быстрый выход «Clown in the Mirror» никак не повлиял на качество самих песен. Они по-прежнему являют собой мелодичные боевички в стиле хард-н-хэви, с характерными хоровыми припевами и оптимистичной атмосферой. И было бы естественно предположить, что хитов нет, что музыканты просто погнались за деньгами, так быстро выпустив альбом. Но нет, хиты здесь имеются, взять хотя бы блестящий боевик «On the Run» с исповедью беглеца, красивую инструменталку «Third Stage» (достойный преемник «Martial Arts» с прошлого альбома), динамичный номер «Here Today, Gone Tomorrow», среднетемповый боевик «Bad Blood» и финальный трек «Epilogue» с философским текстом о том, что всему наступает конец.
