This U.K. budget-priced Robert Palmer compilation offers up a nice selection of classics like "Addicted to Love," "Bad Case of Loving You (Doctor, Doctor)," "Woke Up Laughing," and "I Didn't Mean to Turn You On," but the lack of any Power Station cuts and the exclusion of one his biggest hits ("Simply Irresistible") keeps Icon from truly living up to its promise.

"Catch the Rainbow" is a song by the band Rainbow, released on their debut album Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow and live album On Stage. Although never released as a single, the song became one of Rainbow's greatest hits and is featured on all of their compilations. Melodically, the song resembles "Little Wing" by The Jimi Hendrix Experience[1] while the arrangement has many Pink Floyd influences. The lyrics also seem to be a continuing for "Little Wing" ("Soft and warm she'll touch my face, a bed of straw against the lace").
