Promise ist das zweite Album der englischen Sängerin Sade. Es wurde im November 1985 veröffentlicht.
Nach schleppendem Beginn wurde das Album zu einem großen Erfolg in vielen europäischen Ländern und in den USA. Nachdem das Debütalbum Diamond Life bereits auf Platz zwei der britischen Albumcharts kletterte, erreichte Promise – auch dank eines Auftritts bei Live Aid – in Großbritannien, der Schweiz und den USA Platz 1.
Als Singles wurden The Sweetest Taboo, Is It a Crime sowie Never as Good as the First Time ausgekoppelt.

Lovers Rock is the fifth studio album by English band Sade, released on 13 November 2000 by Epic Records. The album was titled after a style of reggae music known as lovers rock, noted for its romantic sound and content, which frontwoman Sade Adu listened to in her youth. Lovers Rock was seen as a departure from the band's previous use of jazz elements, opting instead for a wider use of musical elements from soul music, R&B, soft rock, folk music, dub, reggae, neo soul and lovers rock. The album's production has been characterised as spare, with simple arrangements and reggae flourishes. A concept album, the lyrics focus on both the positive and the negative sides of love; the album's lyrical content also touches upon political themes.

Lovers Live is the first live album and third video album by English band Sade, released on 5 February 2002 by Epic Records. It was recorded at the Arrowhead Pond in Anaheim, California, on 20 September 2001 and at the Great Western Forum in Inglewood, California, on 21 September as part of the band's Lovers Rock Tour. The CD contains 13 tracks, while the DVD contains 22 tracks as well as special features. The live version of the track "Somebody Already Broke My Heart" was released as a single from the album.

Breakfast in America is the sixth studio album by the English rock band Supertramp, released by A&M Records on 29 March 1979. It was recorded in 1978 at The Village Recorder in Los Angeles. It spawned four U.S. Billboard hit singles: "The Logical Song" (No. 6), "Goodbye Stranger" (No. 15), "Take the Long Way Home" (No. 10) and "Breakfast in America" (No. 62). In the UK, "The Logical Song" and the title track were both top 10 hits, the only two the group had in their native country.
In 1980, Breakfast in America won two Grammy Awards, including Best Engineered Non-Classical Recording, and Grammy nominations for Album of the Year and Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals. It holds an RIAA certification of quadruple platinum and became Supertramp's biggest-selling album, with more than 4 million copies sold in the US alone. It was No. 1 on Billboard Pop Albums Chart for six weeks, until 30 June 1979. The album also hit No. 1 in Norway, Austria, Spain, Canada, Australia and France.

Sonny Landreth’s new album "Blacktop Run" mixes genres and styles across a landscape of lyricism and rootsy grooves. His 3rd album for blues connaisseur label Provogue, and his 14th overall, will be released on February 21, 2020. A percussive burst of acoustic resonator guitar pushes the narrator on a journey “between the life I left and the edge of next” in the title cut of guitarist, songwriter and bandleader Sonny Landreth’s 14th album. As the singer feels the wind at his back, a rising bass line intersects Landreth's vocalizing to stretch the fingerpicked tune into Far Eastern melodicism. The south Louisiana artist's groundbreaking work has long mixed familiarity with experimentation, and his latest ten-song collection stretches from hard-edged electric instrumentals to wistful acoustic ballads. The project's range is the fruit of a renewed collaboration. Producer RS Field – who helmed Landreth's trio of breakout albums – joined the six-stringer and co-producer Tony Daigle to finish the record.

Silent Tiger is the next exciting chapter in the musical journey for MRR’s own Jean Funes, founding member and guitarist of Sound Of Eternity and Hearts On Fire. With HOF vocalist Richard Andermyr working on new Rian material this year, Jean asked to be put to work and who better to work with than another stalwart of MRR, vocalist David Cagle. Together, along with master drummer Joel Mejia (Hearts On Fire), the trio forms Silent Tiger.
Jean Funes comments: “It has been a pleasure working with David on this album. He adds that amazing and powerful soulful voice and takes every song to another level. We’ve been working for months on the songs and its wonderful how the songs have developed naturally and have taken life on their own. This album is going to have the right edge to it, but at the same time plenty of melody and uplifting songs. You will hear elements of Def Leppard, Van Halen, Dokken, Mötley Crüe, Europe and more, because every one of these bands are a big influence to us, but I think Silent Tiger is very original with its approach to rock music.”

Leeds 6-piece frog-rock groovers Shaku have self released their debut album Maku, as the album is a divine representation of their creativity and musicianship which shines through even more so in their stellar live performances.
The group have a fantastic genre-fluid identity that sees them slip down the cracks between Canterbury scene prog, classic blues, funk-rock, UK jazz and epic old school rock. Having interviewed them back in May 2019, the band were ready back then to record after two years of relentless gigging, warfare, bloodshed and liquid consumption, and they did so live at The Nave Studios, Pudsey, and also in a living room in Burley. The theme of the album is a timeline of Shaku, covering a lot of musical and lyrical ground that each represent a different period in the band which has evolved over time, both together as a group and as individuals.

Italy has always been a prime center for music, from the days of classical all the up to the modern day. SECRET ALLIANCE confirms my opinion with their outer cosmic Progressive Hard Rock album “Solar Warden”. SECRET ALLIANCE was founded by guitarist Gianluca Galli (SILVER HORSES & MANTRA) initially as his solo project, but found he was wanting to create music with some extra complexity involved. He recruited the incredible Ricardo Confessori (ex-ANGRA) and fantastic hard rock bassist Tony Franklin to round out the constant members in every song. There are many guest musicians on this futuristic/sci-fi inspired album including Frank Gambale (CHICK COREA BAND) and Alex Masi. These great musicians create a futuristic world in sound.
