Tankard самыми первыми из немецких трэшеров обратились к жанру каверов на классические пивные и застольные шлягеры, выпустив два альбома под названием Tankwart. Первый из них, "Aufgetankt" (1994), содержит кавера песен артистов Новой Немецкой Волны в исполнении Tankard - надо ли говорить о непреходящем значении этой пластинки для всех, кто неравнодушен к пиву, баварским колбаскам и задушевным застольным разговорам, которые зачастую заканчиваются под столом?

Но музыкальная составляющая вообще не поддается описанию, настолько она самобытна и неповторима. Это именно тот случай, когда музыку невозможно загнать в какие-то стилистические рамки. Одна только семиминутная "Triumph" является "винегретом" из самых различных музыкальных стилей. Конечно, костяк музыки - это прогрессивный метал и в какой-то степени индустриальный оттенок тоже присутствует - но это больше касается саунда как такового. В остальном же просматривается влияние хард-рока, кое-где эмбиента, ну и, конечно, польки (см. "Vampolka" ). При всей разнообразности материала альбом оставляет ощущение контролируемого хаоса. Все переходы одновременно неожиданны, но и выверены до секунды, и даже не представляешь, как может быть по-другому.

«Apocalipsis» в каком-то смысле - переходный альбом – на нем нашлось место как тяжелым хэви-металлическим боевикам, так и чисто хардовым вещам, но, тем не менее, почти в каждой композиции есть что-то цепляющее.Очень жаль, что после этой студийной работы Анхель и Ко решили изменить курс и стали двигаться в направлении облегчения звучания. Собственно, и на рассматриваемом диске уже слышны отзвуки поздних Tierra Santa, но здесь все выглядит достаточно органично.

Но все же, со времен «Bizarre Troll Technology» (2001) изменений произошло немало. Композиции стали гораздо короче, чем на дебютнике, зато скорости и агрессии прибавилось, да так, что после сорока минут альбома мозг слушателя остается выжатым досуха. Клавиши сменились от симфоничности в сторону кибера, также появились индастриальные фишки, вообще, можно сказать, что тролли заиграли индастриальный блэк, но попробуйте сыскать такие скорости в этом стиле…

This is my favorite Kazu Matsui recording. I have others but this one with Robben Ford is very good. If you are a fan of Robben Ford, you get to hear a different side of him. Great vocalsl from Robben. I have been looking for this album in CD format for years. A must have for Kazu Matsui Project fans and Robben Ford fans.

Permission to Land is the debut studio album released by British hard rock band The Darkness. The album was released in the United Kingdom on 7 July 2003 and in the United States on 5 August 2003. The album topped the UK Albums Chart and reached number thirty-six on the American Billboard 200 chart. Five singles were released from Permission to Land: "Get Your Hands off My Woman", "Growing on Me", "I Believe in a Thing Called Love", "Christmas Time (Don't Let the Bells End)" (which only appears on the German Christmas edition), and "Love Is Only a Feeling". "I Believe in a Thing Called Love" was the most successful, reaching number two on the UK Singles Chart.
