The album was recorded and released in the midst of Wings' highly successful Wings Over the World tour, with songs from the album performed on the tour after its release. Subsequently, performances of "Let 'Em In", "Time to Hide", 'Silly Love Songs' and "Beware My Love" were included on the live album Wings over America, released in December 1976.

Wings at the Speed of Sound is the fifth studio album by the British–American rock band Wings, released on 26 March 1976.[1] Issued at the height of the band's popularity, it reached the top spot on the US album chart—the band's fourth consecutive album to do so—and peaked at number 2 on the UK album chart. Both singles from the album also reached the top 5 of the UK and US singles charts, with "Silly Love Songs" reaching number 1 in the US.

Preceded by the single "Listen to What the Man Said", Venus and Mars peaked at number 1 in the US, the UK and other countries around the world. It also received mostly favourable reviews from music critics but was ultimately considered inferior to its predecessor. The album was reissued with bonus tracks in 1987 on CD and in 1993 as part of The Paul McCartney Collection. It was remastered in 2014 and released as a deluxe edition with bonus tracks and unreleased material.

After recording Band on the Run (1973) as a three-piece with wife Linda and guitarist Denny Laine, McCartney added Jimmy McCulloch on lead guitar and Geoff Britton on drums to the Wings line-up in 1974. Having written several new songs for the next album, McCartney decided to record the album in New Orleans, and Wings headed there in January 1975.

After recording Band on the Run as a three-piece with wife Linda McCartney and guitarist Denny Laine, McCartney recruited guitarist Jimmy McCulloch and drummer Geoff Britton to the band in 1974. Recording sessions for the album took place in London, New Orleans and Los Angeles in November 1974 and early 1975. During the sessions, personal tensions caused Britton to quit after nine months, forcing the band to recruit American drummer Joe English to finish the album.

True as Steel — третий студийный альбом западногерманской рок-группы Warlock, изданный 18 августа 1986 звукозаписывающим лейблом Vertigo Records. В коммерческом отношении True as Steel стал прорывом для группы, попав в Топ-20 национального хит-парада (18-е место). Wild Life is the debut studio album by the British-American rock band Wings and the third studio album by Paul McCartney after the breakup of the Beatles. The album was mainly recorded in seven sessions between 24 July and 4 September 1971 (additional overdubs were added during sessions in October 1971), at EMI Studios (now Abbey Road Studios) by McCartney, his wife Linda, session drummer Denny Seiwell, whom they had worked with on the McCartneys' previous album Ram, and guitarist Denny Laine, formerly of the English rock band the Moody Blues. It was released by Apple Records on 7 December in the UK and US, to lukewarm critical and commercial reaction.

Очень спорный альбом. С одной стороны очень красивый и мелодичный, но с другой, несмотря на небольшую продолжительность, он несколько скучноват. Теперь про стиль. Группа несколько изменила его. По сравнению с первой работой, альбом намного легче в плане музыки, но зато сильнее в плане мелодичности, т.к тут полностью отсутствует долбежка, которой, на мой взгляд, на первом альбоме немного черезчур. Чувствуется, так сказать, смещение равновесия от мелодэта в сторону пауэра (на первом альбоме доля пауэра незначительна), и из этого логически следует, что \\\"количество\\\" клавиш тоже, так сказать, идет в большую сторону. Нет нет, альбом отнюдь хуже не становится, а наоборот клавиши создают прекрасную зимнюю атмосферу и придают музыке эпичность (а ее тоже сильно прибавилось по сравнению с первой работой). Главная жемчужина альбома, шедевр \\\"Time\\\", мелодика который просто поражает в сердце с первого прослушивания, а припев полностью сносит башню, вообщем говорить можно хоть сколько, это нужно слышать.

Многие рассматривают "Wizard" как немецкий ответ "Manowar", и в какой-то мере это действительно так. Проповедники тру-метал из города Бохолта начали свою деятельность в 1989 году. Создателем команды является барабанщик Сноппи Денн, два первых года тасовавший состав, пока не добился нужного результата. В итоге в 1991-м сформировался прочный костяк группы в виде: Свен Ди'Анна (вокал), Майкл Маасс (гитара), Волкер Лесон (бас) ну и плюс сам Сноппи за ударными. Осенью 1991-го "Wizard" записали свое первое демо, "Legion of doom", получившее хорошие отзывы в окрестностях Бохолта.Ободренные музыканты тогда всерьез взялись за работу над материалом, затем насобирали деньжат, и в 1995-м представили на суд публики свой первый альбом, "Son of Darkness".

Что же такого особенного в музыке Warrior? По-сути, это классический американский heavy metal, по музыке напоминающий тогдашних Savatage, Manowar и немного Judas Priest. То есть перед нами образец чистого хэви, без уклонов в пограничные жанры. Не может не порадовать характерный именно для этого подстиля металла саунд, с громкими, сочными ударными с двойной бочкой, гулким басом и кристально чистыми, четкими гитарами. К слову, о гитарных партиях - они очень хороши, особенно с учетом того, что это дебютник. Гитаристам удалось придумать запоминающиеся и в то же время замысловатые и интересные гитарные риффы, не страдающие излишней вычурностью. Мелодичность также на высоте, все в лучших традициях жанра,

«Hellbound» - самый жесткий альбом Warlock за всю их историю, да и за историю самой Доро тоже. Здесь во всей красе представлен немецкий хэви-метал с влияниями спид/пауэра, к тому же довольно-таки мелодичный. Звук, к сожалению, получился хуже, чем на «Burning the Witches», зато сама музыка стала гораздо серьезнее и мощнее.
