Secret Messages, as its title suggests, is littered with hidden messages in the form of backmasking, some obvious and others less so. This was Jeff Lynne's second tongue-in-cheek response to allegations of hidden Satanic messages in earlier Electric Light Orchestra LPs by Christian fundamentalists, which led to American congressional hearings in the early 1980s (a similar response had been made by Lynne on the Face the Music album, during the intro to the "Fire on High" track).

Excellent collection of most of ELO's prime output. The price can't be beat and, unlike many of these Original Album collections, all of the discs are the remastered versions with all of the extra tracks. Even though the sleeves themselves are replicas of the original LP sleeves with only the LP tracks listed, the outer case lists the extra tracks.Just add Out of the Blue and you have the peak ELO albums. .

On the Third Day is the third studio album by Electric Light Orchestra (ELO), and the first to be recorded without input from Roy Wood. It was released in the United States in November 1973 by United Artists Records, and in the United Kingdom on 14 December 1973 by Warner Bros. Records. From this album on, the word The was dropped from the band's name (other than The Night the Light Went On in Long Beach which was one of their live albums). The album was reissued on 12 September 2006.

The Electric Light Orchestra is the debut studio album by English rock band Electric Light Orchestra (ELO), released in December 1971 in the United Kingdom by Harvest Records. In the United States, the album was released in March 1972 as No Answer, after a misunderstood telephone message made by a United Artists Records executive asking about the album name; the caller, having failed to reach the ELO contact, wrote down "no answer" in his notes, and this was misconstrued to be the name of the album. It is one of two albums to not feature keyboardist Richard Tandy, the other being 2015's Alone in the Universe.

Мини-альбом длиной около 50 минут? Такое возможно, если мы говорим о Funeral Doom’е. От этой английской группы мы привыкли получать релизы, требующие два диска. Так что всего лишь 50 минут звучания могут показаться кому-то до обидного малыми.На данном диске нашему вниманию представляются всего 4 трека. Зато каких! Каждый – целостный музыкальный номер, своя безумная история со своим развитием и уникальной структурой. Стартует диск с почти шестнадцатиминутной «Morphia». Груженные по максимуму риффы, мощнейший бас, «плавающая», неуловимая лид-гитара, во второй половине трека появляется мощный ритм. Затем идет восхитительный номер под названием «The Blood of the Eyes», который я склонен считать самым лучшим треком коллектива наряду с «Circle». Начинается он обманчиво: с красивейшей, интригующей мелодии гитары. Во второй половине опять-таки вступает жесткий ритм и текст начинает произноситься несколько быстрее. Один из моих самых любимых моментов в творчестве Esoteric. Третья композиция так же ничуть не уступает предыдущим, а по степени безумия вокала даже опережает. Вокал Грега как всегда на высоте.

The Score – An Epic Journey is a soundtrack album by the Dutch symphonic metal formation Epica, released in 2005. It is the film soundtrack to Joyride, a Dutch production.
Most of the songs of the album are instrumental, except for four songs. The three songs that do feature the singing voice of Simone Simons ("Trois Vierges", "Solitary Ground", "Quietus") are different versions of songs from the album Consign to Oblivion, which was released earlier the same year.
The album was originally supposed to be released on 8 September. After two delays, this date changed to 20 September 2005. The first samples of The Score were given to Jimmy Lim by Mark Jansen in Madrid.

The Phantom Agony is the first full-length studio album by Dutch symphonic metal band Epica. It was released in 2003 by the Dutch label Transmission Records. It is the first album recorded by guitarist Mark Jansen after his departure from the band After Forever. On this album, Jansen continues with the collection of songs that make up The Embrace That Smothers. The first three parts can be found on Prison of Desire (2000), After Forever's debut album, and the following three parts can be found on The Divine Conspiracy (2007), Epica's third album. These songs deal with the dangers of organized religion.
The album was re-released on 23 March 2013, which coincided with Epica’s 10th anniversary Retrospect show, as a 2-disc expanded edition by Epica’s former record label Transmission Records.

Jeff Lynne told Rolling Stone magazine that the idea came from him listening to the original Electric Light Orchestra recordings, and thinking that he could produce a better result having since had a long career as a record producer. Lynne decided to re-record a number of songs from scratch, and began with "Mr. Blue Sky". He told Rolling Stone: "I enjoyed doing that a lot, and when I listened back to it and compared it to the old one, I really liked it much better." It was suggested by his manager that Lynne record a few more versions of Electric Light Orchestra songs, the results being recordings of "Evil Woman" and "Strange Magic". Lynne also liked these versions, so he continued by producing a full album of re-recordings.
