FAIR WARNING underline the motto which they have chosen for themselves: a good song will always remain a good song. At the same time, it's an integral part of the "Pimp Your Past" concept that the arrangements of some of the new versions differ significantly from the originals. As bassist Ule Ritgen puts it so aptly: "When our Japanese record company approached us with the request for this kind of album, we were skeptical to start with. But once we had made up our minds to not simply re-record the material but furnish it with a few fresh arrangements, the project gained momentum and we were gripped by a kind of eagerness to explore the possibilities. Especially since the new recording are very energetic and sound excitingly different in parts while their essence has remained the same.

Впрочем, эти самые „любители” оскоромиться „Omega Wave” могут лишь по старой памяти, уже подводящей, — группа и до того ярко выделялась из всей бэй-эриа-тусовки, которая предпочитала более простую музыку, а уж свежая работа явно выделяет их из стана тамошних трэшеров,

Несмотря на небольшие недостатки, Forefather по прежнему звучат чертовски убедительно. Да, эта музыка (как группа, так и стиль) не особо тяжела или агрессивна, но здесь есть то, что делает её особенной. Музыка Forefather, как ни у кого в Англии и у немногих, в общем-то, групп в мире, обладает стойким привкусом крови минувших сражений. Привкусом, способным разжечь пламя Памяти в душах людей и напомнить об их великом прошлом, пробудить спящий ныне глубоким сном Дух Европы. Но лишь в тех немногих, в ком ещё есть, что пробуждать…

Mit Rumours hatte die Band 1977 ein Album vorgelegt, das zu den erfolgreichsten der Band- und Rockgeschichte gehörte. Sie gewannen Grammy Awards für dieses Album und gingen 1978 erneut ins Studio, um neue Songs aufzunehmen. Der finanzielle Erfolg von Rumours sorgte dafür, dass die Band ein Budget für die Aufnahmen von 1 Mio. $ erhielt. Die Geldgeber von Warner erwarteten ein ähnlich kompaktes Mainstreamalbum, wie Rumours es war. Das monumentale Doppelalbum wurde dann jedoch von musikalischen Experimenten von Lindsey Buckingham geprägt und kam weit weniger gut an als das Vorgängeralbum. Tusk erreichte schließlich nicht die erwartete Topplatzierung in den US-Charts und kam nur bis auf den 4. Platz. Dennoch wurden in den nächsten Jahren über zwei Millionen Alben von Tusk verkauft. Tusk erklomm ebenso wie Rumours in Großbritannien den ersten Platz der Albumcharts, und in Deutschland war das Album mit Platz 3 als höchste Platzierung sogar erfolgreicher als Rumours, das nur den 6. Platz erreichen konnte.

Tusk is the twelfth studio album by British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac, released as a double album on 12 October 1979. It is considered more experimental than their previous albums: partly a consequence of Lindsey Buckingham's sparser songwriting arrangements and the influence of post-punk. The production costs were estimated to be over $1 million (equivalent to $3.57 million in 2020), making it the most expensive rock album recorded to that date.
The band embarked on a nine-month tour to promote Tusk. They travelled extensively across the world, including the U.S., Australia, New Zealand, Japan, France, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, and the UK. In Germany, they shared the bill with Bob Marley. On this world tour, the band recorded music for the Fleetwood Mac Live album released in 1980.

Time is the 16th studio album by British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac, released on 10 October 1995. This album features a unique line-up for the band featuring the addition of former Traffic guitarist Dave Mason and country vocalist Bekka Bramlett (daughter of Delaney and Bonnie). Lindsey Buckingham, who had left Fleetwood Mac in 1987, makes an appearance as a backing vocalist on one track, but Time is the only Fleetwood Mac album since 1974's Heroes Are Hard to Find not to feature any contribution from Stevie Nicks.
The album received unfavorable reviews from critics and was a commercial disappointment, failing to chart in the US and peaking at number 47 in the UK.

Then Play On is the third studio album by the British blues rock band Fleetwood Mac, released on 19 September 1969. It was the first of their original albums to feature Danny Kirwan (although he is also listed on two tracks on the earlier compilation The Pious Bird of Good Omen) and the last with Peter Green. Jeremy Spencer did not feature on the album apart from "a couple of piano things" (according to Mick Fleetwood in Q magazine in 1990). The album offered a broader stylistic range than the classic blues of the group's first two albums. The album went on to reach No. 6 on the UK Albums Chart, subsequently becoming the band's fourth Top 20 hit in a row, as well as their third album to reach the Top 10. The album's title, Then Play On, is taken from the opening line of William Shakespeare's play Twelfth Night — "If music be the food of love, play on".

Tango in the Night is the fourteenth studio album by British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac. Released on 13 April 1987, it is the fifth, and to date, the last studio album from the band's most successful lineup of Lindsey Buckingham, Mick Fleetwood, Christine McVie, John McVie, and Stevie Nicks, as Buckingham left the band later that year.
