Музыканты выложились на славу: Крис мощно рычит в своей уникальной манере, Манни Шмидт выдает такие запилы, что порой мурашки устраивают свою войну за свободу на спине, бас Йенса Беккера звучит максимально уверенно, один из лучших на мой взгляд хэви-металлических ударников Штефан Арнольд каждым ударом словно вышибает пыль из черепушки слушателя, а "таинственный" Ханс Петер Катзенбург так вдохновенно играет на клавишах, что уже невозможно представить Grave Digger без него.

"Closer To Home" - третий студийный альбом американской рок-группы Grand Funk Railroad, выпущенный в июле 1970 года на фирме Capitol. Альбом ворвался в "горячую десятку" рейтинга журнала "Billboard" на 6-е место и стал дважды платиновым. Он закрепил успех, предопределённый предыдущими двумя альбомами. Немаловажным фактом в успехе альбома стала аренда Терри Найтом за 100 тысяч долларов рекламного плаката в Нью-Йорке на Таймс-сквер. Благодаря такой агрессивной рекламе выступление группы в поддержку альбома закончилось полным триумфом. На постере, вложенном в конверт вместе с диском, показаны фрагменты выступления Grand Funk Railroad в Мэдисон Сквер Гарден в феврале 1970 года.

From the Mars Hotel is the seventh studio album by rock band the Grateful Dead. It was mainly recorded in April 1974, and originally released June 27, 1974. It was the second album by the band on their own Grateful Dead Records label. Blues for Allah is the eighth studio album by the Grateful Dead. It was recorded February 27 – May 7, 1975, and released September 1, 1975. It was the band's third album on their own Grateful Dead Records label and their third studio album in a row. Though it has not received RIAA certification as of 2020, Blues for Allah was the group's highest-charting album until 1987's In the Dark, reaching No. 12 during a thirteen-week stay on the Billboard Album Chart.

Жаль, что познакомился я с этой группой так поздно. А случилось это в далеком 1999-ом году, когда до меня дошли слухи, что экс-ударник Slayer имеет свой личный проект. Послушав группу Грип Инк, могу сказать следующее – мощная, немелодичная, и чересчур экспрессивная музыка присутствует в этом психодел-трэш коллективе. Агрессия, с которой играют музыканты, захлестывает вас с лихвой и заставляет либо выключить проигрыватель сразу же, либо слушать до конца. Звучание, взятое группой на из первом альбоме можно охарактеризовать, как просто дикий и необузданный депрессивно-психологический трэш, с немного гранджевым оттенком. Звучание гитар мощное и довольно однообразное, что заставляет поставить им какую-нибудь приставку к слову трэш. Этой приставкой иногда являются некие нео-готик-думовые переходы, а иногда и элементы хардкора, или даже утяжеленного гранджа с замедленным и грязноватым звучанием.

Весьма любопытная ЕРшка, по эмоциональной насыщенности и содержанию стоящая целого альбома. Уважаю группы, способные делать поклонникам подобные сюрпризы.Открывает и завершает ЕР представленная в двух версиях "Yesterday" – весьма древняя композиция, впервые сыгранная Grave Digger аж на дебютном “Heavy Metal Breakdown” в 1984 году. Для многих поклонников – преданья старины глубокой. Однако эта песня воистину стоила того, чтобы её «откопали из могилы» более, чем двадцать лет спустя. Переосмысленная в 2006 году "Yesterday", по сравнению с оригиналом звучит намного более глобально и всеохватно, рождая чувство глубокой ностальгии и ощущение чего-то безвозвратно ушедшего.

Альбом просто потрясающий и до сих пор ими не превзойденный. Мощный звук, энергия, напор, не единой слабой вещи. Классика спид-поуэр металла. Блестящие композиции. А чего только стоит Yesterday - это действительно первая true power ballad (никакие скорповские сопливые баллады и рядом не валялись).Для своего времени альбом звучит очень здорово, тяжело и быстро, и если бы комаозиции были более сложными, то поставил бы 10 баллов. А так рекомендуется для обязательного прослушивания поклонникам speed/power metal.

Selling England by the Pound is the fifth studio album by the English progressive rock band Genesis, released in October 1973 on Charisma Records. It reached No. 3 in the UK and No. 70 in the U.S. A single from the album, "I Know What I Like (In Your Wardrobe)", was released in February 1974 and became the band's first top 30 hit in the UK.
The album was recorded in August 1973 following the tour supporting the previous album, Foxtrot (1972). The group set aside a short period of time to write new material, which covered a number of themes, including the loss of English folk culture and an increased American influence, which was reflected in the title. Following the album's release, the group set out on tour, where they drew an enthusiastic reception from fans.
